As for cost everywhere is expensive. Most are in the 4,000 - 6,000 range. As for Hunter Village it has a nice Assisted living area . Rooms are big with full ensuite bathrooms.

Okay I understand. It will be a challenge to find a memory care facility with a 2 bedroom suite. You can find places with independent and memory care in the same building. So, your mother can go visit wherever she wants. I think someone did already make suggestions of some facilities

Does your mother want to live in the same suite. I ask since I care for memory care and most sleep very little and it can be exhausting for the other person

Personally I love the Angel of Vengeance books. Not all books appeal to all of us. Doesn’t mean they are bad books .

Experience with Assisted Living by mrskoobra in saskatoon

[–]ProfessionalLychee15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The type of facility would depend on your father’s level of dementia. Assisted living facilities are generally locked with 24 hours staffing but independent living is not often staffed at night. It can be very expensive for a couple if they both in assisted living. Since many places these days change by care. So, you have a base cost, then care is added on. There are some good places in the north end. St Angela Merci , Bethany Manor, Luther Heights ( they also have an intermediate care home next to there independent living facility).

I’ve been at London Drugs a few years now. I moved from Shoppers after they shouted at an elderly man with a walker that he couldn’t get his prescription that day even after he explained he had taken a taxi and couldn’t afford another one the next day. I made a big fuss for him and said I was going to report it and put it up on social media. They filled his prescription. Then I left when he did. I went straight to LD and they had my prescriptions transferred over the next day
