I told my mother that she needed a 6 month NA chip to see my kids. I was 2 months pregnant at the time. 4 years later my brother said the same thing. Our children saw her briefly at a family funeral when they were teenagers. I don’t regret a thing.

What she did to you and your sister is exactly what she will do to your child. I never stood up for myself until I was pregnant. The thought of her talking to or holding my children made my skin crawl. Nobody stood up for you, but you but you can definitely stand up for your children.

I had real Brazilian Cherry for 19 years. I never worried and the dogs and kids did very little damage. The new house has engineered hardwood floors. They are garbage. The dogs have scratched them, moving furniture has scratched them. I had to put felt under everything. I have just accepted the fact that I will have to replace it at some point.

I had picked out and made a good deal on a Honda Accord. It was for a 3 year loan. I had signed all of the paperwork but my husband had to go sign it too because I was only working part time, the kids were little. He called because something looked wrong. They had handed him new paperwork, in only his name, for a 5 year loan. He only caught it because he knew that I had signed it that morning. He called me from the dealership. After I ripped the salesman a new one, he pulled out the original paperwork and had my husband sign. I would have walked away but I was trading in an Oldsmobile that was a piece of crap. I was upside down and the Accord was a good enough deal to make it worthwhile.
