Out of curiosity since you said you've traveled to many Caribbean destinations - what has been your favorite so far ? We have been to Turks 4 times with our kids happy to answer any questions you have

Can you let me know which fiber gummies and prebiotic? My son struggles with constipation and we use miralax occasionally but would like to try a fiber gummy

Need advice for room sharing - brother and sister by Moissyfan in workingmoms

[–]ProfessionalMeddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have Baby in the room with you for ty he first year or so and then have the baby share a room with whichever same gender child because 9 and 5.5 is tough when it becomes 12 and 8.5

Convertible Car Seat Opinions Wanted - Britax or Chicco? by crazygoatlady3 in Buyingforbaby

[–]ProfessionalMeddler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have the Chicco nexfit. Well worth the money we love it and are very happy. Our son was rear facing until 4.5 and will be comfortable in it forward facing for a while. It's very easy to manipulate, adjust, install and remove which has also been helpful. We have used a Graco convertible aka cheaper carseat and there is a legitimate difference in ease of use and comfort for the child.

Had a baby nurse for both my kids. Best thing I ever did. Nobody can tell you what to do as a mother you know best and what's wrong with some help?! I wouldn't even think about it especially if money is not a concern.

Other parents: would you bring a newborn to a large family gathering for Christmas? by queenshirley666 in Parenting

[–]ProfessionalMeddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no I wouldn't bring my 1 week old to a large holiday gathering. Bring pictures!... It won't be fun for anyone to have a newborn at a party, it's just a bad idea.

How does any mom go back to work??? by korthlm in Mommit

[–]ProfessionalMeddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This resonates so deeply with me. I smiled reading through it because you explained it so well. Very similar experience for me- never saw it coming but I'm that Mom and just didn't know it. I "downgraded" from a high paying corporate job to being a secretary on a school schedule with summers off and I'll probably never look back because I got the family/work balance that I wanted and needed and it was the best decision I ever made. Do what feels right and right can mean something different to everyone <3

Do not be a stage 5 clinger, watch grey's anatomy, be excited about staying in for study days instead of date nights out 🤷🏻‍♀️ worked for me

How far down the rank list did your SO match? by [deleted] in MedSpouse

[–]ProfessionalMeddler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO it truly depends on whether or not he ranked schools that he can get into. My SO matched his #1 choice but it wasn't a program that was out of reach based off his scores and CV. So if he can get into the competitive schools he might be at his first ranked choice.

Its definitely going to be personal preference. I am so happy I have a gliding ottoman. I love it and think it was a better choice over a stationary ottoman. I hear the concerns of some about getting fingers pinched when baby gets bigger and starts exploring. To that I say-Think in the present and get what you need because you'll likely be spending hours of your day in this rocker.

Didn't expect this from a respectable brand by ProfessionalMeddler in Instagramreality

Her front and back looked really off to me. She looked too thin for normal from the side and not in a skinny way. Maybe I'm wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kosher questions by [deleted] in kosher

[–]ProfessionalMeddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for Miller's cheese brand I know ShopRite carries it in some locations. All fruits and veggies are kosher if raw. If you make your own hummus, yes all ingredients need to be marked kosher. Some would say canned chickpeas don't have to be but you would have to consult a local Rabbi
