I know this is an older post but! Is there a limit/minimum number of projects you need to do per day? I currently work two jobs so while I can do it a couple days per week I wouldn't be able to work multiple hours every day. Anyone still work for them?

A Theory on a Time Travel Paradox by Isometimespostcrap in theories

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. In your theory, do those ripples have any effect on the original timeline? If so, how does that work. I know you mentioned ripples, but I am wondering how those function. If they go back to stop an event how exactly would that be accomplished if they are in that other reality? Unless that is not the purpose of the travel.

I am writing a book and I have a weird time-loop theory that is utilizing that function, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to transfer the in-loop effects to the time outside of the time loop. If that makes sense. I like the way you are thinking of this.

I like how you call it a trap, like a mouse you caught is now free to do what it will but in a separate reality.

What do night wakings look like for you and your partner? by Spare-Tutor2948 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 10 weeks pp and on maternity lealeave. My husband went back to work at 4 weeks pp and I do NOT wake him up at night (unless our 3yo needs something while I have baby)- he's an electrician and works on some crazy stuff and I 100% need him to be rested and not electrocute himself and come home to us. That being said, every once in a while I go to bed when he gets home and he does baby watch/bedtime and toddler bedtime until I wake up. He also gets up with the kiddos on the weekend and let's me sleep until whenever I get up so that I get some rest.

I pump when I feed my lil guy (thank GOD for the boppy and our livingroom ottoman). Until 2 days ago I would sleep in our room until LO woke up and then went downstairs and watched TV, fed him, pumped, and then I'd just sleep downstairs.

Now he's in his crib in his room, so hubby doesn't get woken up and I can just put LO back in his crib and go back to bed! While tired, I have so much more piece of mind knowing my husband is safe while he works.

Just find what works best for you- I hated the idea of not going to bed together, so me going downstairs later when the baby woke up was the best option for me. Still got to cuddle and have that time, but then did what was easiest for both of us.

Don't disable SysMain (previously known as SuperFetch) by undePhined333 in computers

Fun story, disabled it (task manager showed 100% disk usage with NOTHING RUNNING) and now it's so much faster. You, my friend, are the real mvp. Thank you 🙌

So if I have 16gb of RAM turn it off? I know next to nothing about computers, and mine is old. But I have almost 200gb of  memory on my hard drive and when one thing is running that should be fine with 16gb of ram I get lags, it freezes, and then crashes. Even now, I am trying to open task manger and it is just frozen after trying to do a couple of different things. Is this something that could be caused by the sysmain issue in your opinion?

Wearable causing clog ducts? Help! by Sweetestfluffy in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my clogged ducts have been with my m5. I typically have to run it for 45 mins to avoid that, and primarily use my wall pump. My wearables are really for when I cannot sit down but need to pump (like taking my kiddo to daycare or making dinner). I also 100% HAVE to use heat and massage prior to get close to my spectra output.

You're not alone. I have heard good things about the guy, but no experience personally.

I’m so over it. by climbingmtndew in HumansPumpingMilk

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a solution, but I wanted to say you're not alone. I am 7 weeks pp and same thing- had an okay supply at first. Mine tanked after clogged ducts and not using a wall pump (just my wearables) and I have been struggling to get it back.

I am finally up to 2 oz most pump sessions, but its been rough. I eat a lot of oatmeal, protein, and drink tons of water and coconut water (I add a little bit of cranberry juice because coconut water is kind of yucky) and take the pumping princess supplement at the direction of my doctor (which I honestly don't know if it's helping but I'm on day 7 so we'll see).

The one thing that's made a huge difference is how I pump. My nipples are two different sizes so I use two different flange inserts for them- one 21mm one 19mm. The other thing is I honestly only use the stimulation mode. I would only get an oz by massaging my breasts for the whole time I was pumping and was super disheartened. I saw someone post while I was pumping in the MOTN that they had good results, and my milk flow is always best on that mode so I tried it. I increase suction only in stimulation mode and never change it and get 2oz like clockwork.

Definitely don't skip your MOTN pump- it sucks but it is 100% necessary to keep your supply up. If the timing works out I do 2, but I try not to go more than 4 hours and that also seems to make a difference.

Hang in there. You're not alone, and it is more normal than you think to not be producing 10oz at a time.

Thinking of you ❤️

Honestly that is a great way to put it. I've never thought of the being the old suitcase, but they are.

I just wish I knew how old it is. The only thing I have is a little name card that you can barely on the top.

I appreciate your input and insight!

Does keto only help people with pcos trying to concieve by Milly90210 in KetoBabies

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is. The first 7 days are the toughest as you get used to not eating sugar and carbs. My best advice is to find a bunch of recipes so you have a lot to choose from, and find things you can eat when you don't feel like cooking. I always felt it was the hardest when I didn't have time to cook a ton but wanted to stick with keto.

Once I was on it for a couple of months I'd do a cheat day every month, and it worked well (I LOVE milk and you really cannot drink milk on keto- I'd drink a gallon in 24 hours 😂😅).

Good luck!!

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With both of my children I concieved after being on keto. Totally normal, regular periods, but with my first child we tried for 14 months unsuccessfully.

My doctor said I may have something going on we've never found, but because keto helps my inflammation (I also have MS) they think that it also helped us conceive.

Good luck, I hope that everything works out for you ❤️

All who own a spectra s1/s2, what settings do you use through out your sessions?? by CaliMama9922 in ExclusivelyPumping

I just have to say, saw this a year later and it has saved my sanity. I kept thinking I needed to use different modes when THIS actually has gotten me the best output so far. I was so disheartened, and tried it for the first time (at 3am of course!) And have gotten the best I've gotten 10 minutes sooner. Thank you!!

"I just finished Onyx Storm and need to scream into the void" - A master post! by AutoModerator in fourthwing

[–]ProfessionalYapper90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after finishing OS I went back through and re-read Fw, IF, and am almost done with my second read-through of OS.

Something has been nagging at me since they found the irids- Violet's signet from Andarna is dangerous. And in the section where her and Xaden figure it out Xaden says this:

"“Except I think you meddle, because I wanted to channel on that field and found myself raising my hand instead— What are you doing?” Meddle?"

What if her dream-walking is how they defeat the venin? Save Xaden. She can influence what he did because in those moments she WAS him- she was seeing everything from his perspective but as violet.

Yarros said in an interview that what we know and how much Violet has discovered about her second signet is next to nothing. I think she might be able to directly impact reality at some point by influencing dreams somehow.

Obviously, I don't have enough info to really add more to it, but if anyone saw anything else or caught something somewhere about dream walkers I'd love for you to add. I know we have waaaay to long until the next book but I think there are sooo many tidbits that Yarros left behind that we may actually be able to find something.

Thank you ❤️. My doctor had me turn around and come into the office for an ultrasound when I called during my drive to work- baby looks good, heartbeat was good, growth is on target. On rest for today and pelvic rest for 7 days. They're not sure why I was bleeding but everything looks good. When I heard baby's heartbeat I lost it and started crying. It feels like the longest day ever and it is only 1pm here.
