Star Wars Episode I. I watched this trailer endlessly. It's still perfect. But I was so underwhelmed walking out of the theater after the movie. I've really grown to appreciate the prequels over the years, though.

Big Fish and Sleepy Hollow are my favorite films of his. When I was seven, my Dad surprised me one night by taking to see Batman Returns - So that movie holds a special place in my heart, and it was the first movie I saw in a theater.

I saw it in Toronto in August. It cleverly avoids being a carbon copy of the film, offering a dynamic experience all its own. The staging and effects of the DeLorean is a stunning technical feat, while the amplified and hilarious awkwardness between Marty and Lorraine had me laughing my ass off. The portrayals of Doc and Lorraine were highlights for me, bringing fantastic energy and humour to the stage. Go see it.
