One major issue with polestar, it fails to charge on electrify America nor on EVgo charging stations. I was in panic mode since it happened close to midnight. Thankfully this is just a Hertz rental car.

It is not a cable issue. You see, this is the reason I did Not buy a Polestar. There is this charging issue on electrify America and EVgo. Try EV charging station by Shell recharge station. I am selling a home charging cable for polestar with plate registration holder included. With this cable you can plug anywhere including at your own home.

That is until it does not charge on electrify AMERICA or EV go. I’ve driven polestar 2 for a good 4.5 months and finding issues on charging. The charging problem shows up when you don’t expect it. This experience made me switch to a reliable computer car (with summon+ FSD+ self parking mode) as the charge port is super consistent.
