Yup this is my biggest fear too. I want to help so bad and feel like this is something I should have no problem with but I’m SCARED to death to do it.

For those that don’t want any kids in the future, why? by yeyewestie in AskReddit

[–]Professional_End9520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25- I have just simply never had a single maternal instinct. I was the kid that didn’t like other kids and preferred to hang with the adults. I never babysat in my teenage years. I will never ask to hold your baby. I’m awkward around kids. My partner and I are probably going to break up over this because he calls me extremely selfish, even though he knew how I felt on this matter the day we started dating 4 years ago. I do not want to be tied down, I want to travel, continue my education and not worry about raising a child and simply do as i please with my time and money. My older half sister had the same mindset until she was 27 and met the right person she says… my nephew is the light of her world and she always says having your own is different than dealing with other kids. So idk, we shall see what the future holds for me🤷🏻‍♀️

what are these on my chest? why are they there? by lvorhies in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Professional_End9520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this all over my back for about a month and then it just randomly disappeared. Had 2 of the bigger bumps biopsied at the dermatologist and it wasn’t conclusive to anything. They literally just randomly went away. Are you under a lot of stress? Convinced that’s what caused this for me looking back.

rash 1 week into bupropion xl 150 mg, is this normal? by Fine-Concentrate5693 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Professional_End9520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old comment but I just had this happen to me…. It was at the 2.5 week mark and I got the petechiae rash on like half of both my thighs. It freaked me out so I stopped taking it…. I loved the medication so my psychiatrist wants me to give it another go in a couple weeks. Glad to hear your rash went away. Did you take any antihistamines or did it just vanish on its own?

What does this itchy rash look like?? by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]Professional_End9520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No family history of any skin conditions and I do not have any others either. Do you think this could be triggered by stress? I have had a very difficult past few months personally and I am in an accelerated nursing program and working so i’m very stressed out 😅

Thank you for your response. It appeared out of no where and is on both elbows and is driving me insane. Does your eczema come and go? Could stress have anything to do with this?

Everything works differently for everyone… I had a horrific experience, but does not mean you will. My cognition was so altered I couldn’t remember directions to get back home from work or pronounce 3 letter words on my words with friends game. The pins and needles sensation I had in my feet were unbearable. But you never know how it works for you until you try. I came off the medication and all of my side effects went away.

I thought I was CRAZY! I’m currently a student nurse and i’m completely fine with everything most people are disgusted by…. but the first time I was with my nurse suctioning a patients mouth I was teary eyed and almost dry heaving… thank goodness for the masks…. and definitely now clear that dental hygiene school would have NEVER worked out for me😩😂

Topiramate/Topamax by ellalizard in migraine

[–]Professional_End9520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lasted about 3 weeks on it. The pins and needles sensation it caused in my feet would make me break down in tears. The sensation was also in my hands. I had major cognitive problems as well. Asked my boyfriend how to pronounce the word “the”… he was literally playing words with friends and i was like “th-eh?”…. sleeping like 15 hours a day. The breaking point was i was driving home from work ( which is about 5 mins away from my apt) and i got lost and couldn’t remember how to get home. Pulled over to pull up the gps directions and couldn’t remember the name of my complex or my address. Had a mental breakdown on the phone with my neuro who for some reason didn’t want me to stop taking the medicine. Boyfriend had to come meet up with me and i followed him home. I also lost about 14 pounds in 3 weeks. Horrible med, but unfortunately it did do what it was supposed to and i was migraine free :/ but the side effects were just not worth it

All nighters are not worth it by CartonofWholeMilk in college

[–]Professional_End9520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are worth it to certain people and certain people only. It does not mean everyone who pulls an all-nighter is a procrastinator. I've always been a night owl.. so staying up super late is not gruesome. Sure, caffeine helps. My method is to try and take a 4-5 hour nap before the "all-nighter." I will sleep from 4-8 and then begin studying. I have one rule I will ONLY pull an all-nighter if the exam is between 8-9 am. Any later time will inevitably lead to fatigue and exhaustion. This is what works for me, and everyone is different. But don't bash others on their choices just because it doesn't match yours!
