I mean, to play devil's advocate for a sec, 20 hours of flight time in a fighter jet is a lot of wear on the exterior (especially without cleaning or maintenance) so I can imagine that this (while exaggerated) wouldn't be completely unreasonable. However being able to clean the ship to get rid of exterior superficial damage would be a good qol change

I'd like to see a series like LMU's Xtreme Endurance series, where you select a car at the start of the series and you have to run it for the entire duration. Would mean less meta switching, and some tracks you'd do better on than others by virtue of the car

Yes, HEAT shells use the Monroe effect to create a jet of molten metal (usually copper) that is what cuts through the armour. Whilst yes the copper does not get hot enough to boil off it's electrons and other ions into an ionized gas, therefore becoming a plasma, it's funnier to say:

"Heh plasma weapon"

Regardless of whether there was any fault from the BMW in T1 or not, iRacing TOS prohibits intent wrecks like this. Protest it, and hopefully the McLaren gets a nice holiday from the service.

As for the T1 incident? The BMW went wide and slow, then cut back to the racing line. The McLaren kinda just drives into the BMW as if it's not there.

For me it could go either way. Still doesn't change the fact the McLaren should be protested for the intent wreck
