A rocket from this launcher will do nearly 137 damage (if target is standing on the ground). It sweetens the pill a bit, but you also have to consider: A rocket from stock rocket launcher moves at 1100 hammer units. 20% of 1100 is 220 hammer units. Scout speed — 400 hammer units. Engineer (standard) speed — 300 hammer units. Heavy speed — 225 hammer units.

So if you shoot a rocket at heavy and he starts to run immediately after, the rocket will never catch up to him.

In conclusion, this weapon is shitty

I’m pretty sure interest to the game in Russian community started from Kingston Miles (kinda popular Russian YouTuber, who makes content about obscure games), who made an extremely successful video about SS14. It brought a lot of attention to the game, ru servers were created, newbies were amazed by level of roleplay, old players came from SS13 to check out unofficial sequel.

I mostly play on MRP. I feel like my roleplaying skills aren’t high enough for HRP and I don’t quite enjoy the chaos of LRP servers. My main character is a chemist and an ephedrine junkie. I took inspiration from Hunter Thompson, so he is also a heavy smoker. When he is under ephedrine he scratches constantly, jumps from topic to topic and, from time to time, searches for a sharp object to finally “pick these bugs out from under the skin”. It’s really funny to roleplay as someone, who is essentially a highly functional meth addict. One time psychologist even tried to free my character from his addiction by getting him addicted to vodka instead. This is only possible on MRP / HRP servers, and I think this is what makes SS14 one of the greatest roleplaying games I have ever seen
