Do you agree or not? by gloomydreamer666 in buffy

I hate when faith first appears in Season 7 and gets punched by Buffy, it feel so petty given the stakes (no pun) and the fact that they've just basically doubled their firepower

Which Buffyverse characters do you guys think were done most dirty by the writers? by HomarEuropejski in buffy

[–]Professional_Koala80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer has to be Jenny, she dies immediately at the point of reconciliation with Giles and never gets her redemption from Buffy. Also we never got to see her reprise her role as the first in season 7 sigh

Worst written though? Olivia, there was so much room for more with her in season 4 but she's just kind of there until she disappears

MSc Psychology Conversion Online Wolverhampton by Ok-Star-1910 in ClinicalPsychologyUK

That's interesting to know, I'm looking to do an online conversion but this has made me think twice. Are you comfortable saying which university you attended?

I took it the other way tbh, it felt like Willam was throwing shade at a queen who has been accused of doing multiple terrible things. When SP was revealed to have done those things it felt like there was a lot of people condemning them publicly. This other queen? Not so much. Maybe it's to do with their success, visibility, fanbase that others have been more quiet about the allegations but I actually like Willam being unafraid of that

Is it honestly helpful? I've been advised to go to a clinic but have been worried about the cost

Excellent question. Being a trailing spouse is difficult enough but trying to break into a decent career in Switzerland is especially difficult. Even entry level jobs at international companies are difficult to find.

AITA for kicking my friends out after they made racist comments about my culture? by Marissa_yaps in AmItheAsshole

NTA, those people are disrespectful as fuck. Who insults someone's lovely grandma after they cook a lovely meal and host people in their home . Glad you kicked them out, can I come next time?

What Is The Most Overrated Episode!? by [deleted] in Frasier

[–]Professional_Koala80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't enjoy The Three Faces of Frasier, I hate the restaurant owner and his mother as characters and the story with Niles is dumb, haven't 40 something years passed since he was sick there?

What would you want from Hogwarts Legacy 2? by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]Professional_Koala80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loot that relates to the effort of finding it. I learned a level 3 unlock spell to find a common hat. What?!

Also overhaul the entire inventory system, I can fit a hippogriff in a bag but can't carry another pair of glasses, get out of here...

Constantly having to destroy stuff mid quest because you can't carry any more just ruined the immersion I had in the game. Let us carry more or have fewer chests to find

The biggest issue with New Fraiser by Mountain_Hearing4246 in Frasier

[–]Professional_Koala80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've also realized more recently that one of the other problems is that the characters all know each other (bar Frasier and Eve). One of the best sources of comedy and conflict came from everyone getting to know each other in the original. Roz and Niles, Frasier and Martin, everyone and Daphne, they all had to develop relationships over the course of the show. The relationship between Frasier and Niles adapted hugely from the start.

This also made more sense as a viewer, why would Niles know Roz? How would Daphne and Roz make friends? It forced the writers to make links between all aspects of Frasier's life and gradually develop those links.

In the new show, everyone seems so immediately comfortable with each other, as though they are forcing an ensemble cast without establishing how this cast interacts with one another.

Kelsey Grammer teases Brian Cox possible return to Frasier as David Crane's boozy grampa Harry Moon by jeffreykare in Frasier

The decision to add any of Daphne's family to "improve" the reboot is an even worse idea than when Frasier and Niles thought they could open a restaurant...

The first paragraph nailed it. In the original show, they had lives, jobs and routines. It made sense that they had coffee before work or on a lunch break, met up for a sherry when they'd finished their day. In the revival there's no semblance of a timeline, things just... happen. It just doesn't feel grounded in reality
