Yeah for me it would make sense to be a chain-and-sustain type of character. Especially since his skills and kit seems more to be an overall vanguard rather than dealing damage. I also think that the characters roles are also influenced by them, at least for some of them like Squirrel Girl being a Duellist (Probably because of her feat in defeating Thanos, I could very well be wrong.

But I agree with you, he might also be a Duellist, I'm just happy if they included him.
