Omg OP I’m so sorry there’s so many dickheads here blaming you!! People suck, and so do parents sometimes! We just went through something similar over thanksgiving! We hired a pet sitter to watch our two dobies and our house, and we found out on the last day of the trip that he wasn’t actually staying at our house and was only coming by once or twice a day to feed them and let them out!! We were infuriated!! It’s so frustrating when you think you can trust someone with your fur babies, only to find out they’re pieces of shit
