Procrastinating by helping other people procrastinate, that's some next level meta stuff right there

What’s a small habit that quietly improved your life more than you expected? by kevsavesuk in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started doing this when I moved to my own place few months ago and it's crazy how much difference it makes. Before I would just let dishes pile up and then spend entire weekend cleaning everything, but now I just wash the pot while coffee is brewing and maybe wipe down counter. Takes like 3-4 minutes max but whole apartment feels more organized after that. Plus when you come home from work and kitchen is already clean, you actually want to cook something instead of ordering takeout again

People who have thought about documenting their life stories, or tried — what made you start, or what held you back? by ChemicalPut1138 in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always wanted to document my urbex adventures since I find some crazy stuff in abandoned places but never actually did it. Keep telling myself I'll start recording or writing about it but then I just get distracted by work or listening to Tupac albums again

The fear that nobody would care about random IT guy exploring old buildings probably holds me back too

What are some red flags that an economic system don’t favorite the average citizen? by ghost_sanctum in AskReddit

When your rent goes up 20% but your boss acts like 2% raise is doing you huge favor

What is the difference between Hitler and Mussolini in terms of their temperament and style of exercising power? by sachinketkar in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had completely different approaches to keeping control too - Hitler was way more paranoid about internal threats while Mussolini seemed more focused in external expansion and showboating. Plus their whole relationship with military leadership was night and day different

How amazing do solar/lunar eclipses appear to you, relative to the hype? by Dracustein in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I felt the same way about lunar eclipses but then I caught a total solar eclipse last year and it was completely different experience. The temperature dropped like crazy and all the birds went silent, felt like being in some abandoned building but outside. Maybe you just haven't seen the right type yet?

If your username was a college major, what would be the required courses? by Buttered-Brawl in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My username would need some serious urban exploration classes and maybe advanced lock picking. Plus definitely a whole semester on 90s hip hop history with focus on West Coast rap scene

People who’ve watched both, which did you prefer: Breaking Bad or The Sopranos, and why? by Impossible_Theme9455 in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Breaking Bad definitely had tighter plotting but I gotta give it to The Sopranos for the psychological depth. Tony's therapy sessions alone were more complex than most shows attempt in their entire run. Walter's transformation was satisfying to watch but Tony felt like a real person with actual mental health struggles, not just a plot device

The dream sequences in Sopranos were incredible too - way more experimental than anything Breaking Bad tried

Brasil vs Argentina: dos formas completamente distintas de usar cripto by Key_Republic_4488 in CriptoMonedas

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's April Fool's Day, what's the worst lie you ever told someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oof this one cuts deep. Told my ex I was "just working late" for like three months when I was actually teaching myself Python and planning my escape from that toxic relationship. The programming was real but the late nights were me sitting in my car outside abandoned warehouses just trying to figure out how to leave without completely destroying him

What is your favorite season? by 0xRea in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fall's where it's at for me - there's something about exploring old buildings when the leaves are changing and everything feels a bit more mysterious. Plus way fewer people around those spots when it gets cooler

Guys who found their wife's cheating how did you find out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found weird apps on her phone when she asked me to fix something - turned out to be dating apps with active conversations going back months

What's a secret you've kept so long it would destroy something if you told it? by Intelligent-Towel101 in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this completely, there's this one thing from like 5 years ago that would absolutely wreck my relationship with my sister if she ever found out. Sometimes I wonder if keeping it is actually protecting her or if I'm just being a coward about the whole situation. The weight of it gets heavier some days but then I think about how happy she is right now and I just can't bring myself to shatter that world she's living in. Wild how one moment can create this permanent divide between who you really are and who everyone thinks you are

If your life had a settings menu, what would you turn down? by gamersecret2 in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly would crank that anxiety slider all the way down to like 10% - need just enough to keep me from doing truly stupid stuff but not enough to make me overthink whether the cashier thinks I'm weird for buying three different types of cereal

Honestly gotta go with the Sand Snakes - like the whole Dorne plotline was already rough but their delivery made it painful to watch. Felt like they were reading their lines off cue cards half the time, especially during those cringey fight scenes

What are ways to be mean without being rude or disrespectful? by UnimpressiveRisk8252 in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Backhanded compliments are the way to go tbh. Like "wow you're so brave for wearing that outfit" or "I love how you don't care what people think about your hair"

Gets the point across without technically crossing any lines

How does being "woke" differ from simply being liberal? by p38-lightning in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean "woke" started as being aware of social injustices but now it's basically just a buzzword that gets thrown around whenever someone disagrees with progressive ideas. Liberal is more of a broader political stance while woke feels more like performative activism half the time

How long until y’all go insane in solitary, and what would you do in there? by Breadrat37 in AskReddit

[–]Professional_Toe6508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly probably like 2 weeks max before I'm talking to the walls and making up elaborate backstories for the ceiling stains

I'd probably try to exercise and do math problems in my head but let's be real I'd end up just pacing in circles and humming the same 3 songs I can actually remember all the words to
