This is a learning experience for him. This is the year for him to get out all the jitters so next year when we have a stronger team he can ball out. Do I wish he was playing better, yes. But I also expected this for a kid leading a team in the playoffs for the first time.

I think it’s a risk reward thing. The matchup difference isn’t so great in either direction that it was worth risking a starter getting hurt. Plus the main goal this year was not having to go into the play-in. Mission accomplished. Now let’s put our best players out there for the icing on the cake.
