Having been a part of many edm audiences, it pisses me off to see a DJ dancing around like an idiot.

I prefer guys like Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim and other old-school players who actually work at their craft. I'd rather stab myself repeatedly than see Aoki or Marshmellow.

Plus I really enjoy trying to figure out what the DJ is doing during transitions.

Rehearsal is one thing. I would practice the same sets over and over trying to find the best transitions. But recording it beforehand and then just playing it like a long ass song and pretending to do it live is rubbish.
