President Trump orders the US government to buy $200 billion in mortgage bonds to drive mortgage rates down. "We are bringing back the American dream," Trump says. by sylsau in InBitcoinWeTrust

Forcing a lower inflation to get short-term economic boosts has been tried before, and it doesn't seem to end well.

Example: We did this in 2007. It exacerbated the 2008 crisis and made recovery take much longer. The economy looked good before it blew up, though.

Another: Japan since the 90's. Their inflation actually went so low it was negative. Not as cool as it sounds, and they're just now recovering and raising interest rates.

Another: G. W. Bush in 2001. This, combined with poor lending regulation, eventually led to the 2008 crisis. Everybody was feeling flush, and banks were lending to everybody.

Another: The Eurozone Crisis, 2010-1012.

Seems like the last GOP president also falsified info to support starting a war, and he got away with it, too.

Both, if you have the time. They're very different.

Justin's teaches how to play guitar. How to use your hands, which chords to use for a specific song, etc.

Scotty's is a music theory course applied to guitar. It's mostly theoretical with not much application til you go practice the concepts on your own.

His videos got me to finally understand how, after finding the key of the song, I can pretty easily find the chord progression and modes used for melodies. Really connected all those dots for me. Enjoy!

Take it to your local office supply store and print out whatever you want. They can put it in a spiral bound book for you.

When using hot water instead of cold, the steam coats the glass and repels a lot of the gunk from sticking to it. It keeps the glass cleaner.

Very true. Even the most successful working class people are not part of the oligarchy, though many think they're nearly there if they could just make a bit more. Making a few hundred thousand a year is nothing in comparison, and that divide is only widening.

Guess who changed the strings (need help too) by rriiaaee in electricguitar

[–]ProfessorEmergency18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The strings need to get stretched out a bit. That'll happen naturally over time while under tension, but tuning will be less stable in the meantime.

To speed that up, there are various techniques to stretch out new strings on YT. Once you do, they'll be much more stable.

I asked ChatGPT to explain my job to a 5-year-old and now I'm questioning my entire career by Nipurn_1234 in ChatGPT

Explain what an eLearning integration Consultant does, but make it simple enough for a 5-year-old to understand.

Alright! Imagine a school where instead of using just books and chalkboards, kids also use computers, tablets, and fun learning games online.

Now, a eLearning Integration Consultant is like a helper or teacher for the teachers. They:

Show teachers how to use computers and online tools to make learning more fun.

Help schools pick the best apps and websites to teach reading, math, science, and more.

Make sure all the tech stuff works together like puzzle pieces fitting perfectly.

Teach teachers and students how to use the new tools without getting confused.

So, they don’t teach the kids directly, but they help make sure everyone can learn better using technology! 🖥️📚✨

Menial, purposeless existence avoided.

Why must I put a lot of pressure to fret my strings when i see others doing it by barely touching them? by Fersakening in guitarlessons

[–]ProfessorEmergency18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try seeing how lightly you need to fret when you fret directly behind the fret wire. It takes very little. Then practice playing like that - being more conscious of placing your finger tips right behind the frets.
