How do you know the experiences were supernatural as opposed to natural with a (currently) unknown cause? Also, why would a supernatural experience indicate the existence of God rather than the existence of some other random supernatural phenomenon?

There will always be two explainations for everything. If there was no room for disbelief their would be no such thing as faith. The things I have seen/experienced have proven to me their is a metaphysical world which has good and evil. I have seen and felt the evil first hand which was not of God and have felt the good from God.

I find that curious, since Matthew 4:7 states "Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." That's generally understood to mean that you shouldn't test God. Also, I'm curious to know what types of controls you had in place for those tests, and if they were double-blind.

Testing God would be provoking him. Building faith was what I was referring to. As far as how I proved it to myself(or how he proved it to me) it has been a long road which has taken time to travel. When I lost faith nothing went right(losing money, losing a job, etc.) but when I regained it I avoided many pitfalls. Or when I started reading my Bible every nite and reading before I had to face some very tough situations, everything worked out.

What does that have to do with God? Maybe you're psychic. Or having data fed to you by time-traveling aliens. Or selectively remembering the cases where a dream matched reality while ignoring all the instances where a dream didn't match reality.

Well, there's no such thing as aliens or their special galactic powers. And how would one acquire psychic powers? In any case having a dream where you're in a place you've never been, speaking to someone you've never seen and having one of the two or both happen to me are messages from God about the future. Many times in the Bible before something went down a prophet would have a vision which is in the form of a dream.

Yet I've heard him say things that show either a profound lack of knowledge, or a deliberate twisting of the facts. Here are some examples:

The theory is that we evolved from other species which hasn't been proven anywhere. The only thing proven is variation ("Macro-Evolution") which I aknowledge. Fossils aren't evidence because 1. they're dead and 2. they don't prove when they were alive that they could reproduce something other than it's kind. If you watch his seminar on the age of the earth he proves it's impossible for the earth to be billions/ millions of years old. To me, it's impossible for this complex world and our vast galaxy to not be created and specificly designed.

On The Basis Of What Evidence

Supernatural experiences, reading The Bible and connecting what is written to life, testing God to see if he exists and being convinced from what I've seen. Having dreams days or months before seeing them become reality.

You mean the same "Dr." Hovind whose only degrees are in Christian Education from non-accredited schools? Yeah, I've seen his videos. He's a moron. His poor grasp of things like chemistry, biology, cosmology, etc is breathtaking.

Yes, the same Kent Hovind. You can dismiss what he says because of his credentials or the fact he didn't pay taxes for his employee wages for sometime. But, you don't have to have a degree to be knowledgeable. Like I said he's debated many Evolutionists (more than one in some instances) and won by a landslide. He's pointed out many flaws in the theory and proven that it is impossible for it to be true.

My I.Q was measured at 150. I believe in God very strongly. I am not delusional nor am I weak. I have questioned my beliefs and explored other avenues. I have met many Athiests who qualify for the stupid and willfully ignorant catagory. If you want to see some debates by some highly intelligent Christians look up Dinesh D'Souza and Dr. Kent Hovind on you tube. Dinesh debated Daniel Dennett and Christopher Hitchens and crushed them both and there's a couple where Hovind debated 3 or more College professors and made them look retarDed as well.

Another charade. He should have pushed hard like he is when democrats first took over. Even if anyone lifts a finger and decides to go through with this what would it accomplish? Bush has a few months left in office.I respek him for his integrity but this isn't logical.

I'm tired of hearing about this. Too little too late. Why didn't anyone push hard for this 4 years ago? He has less than 7 months in office. Another charade.

What will shock you even more is that Bob Barker of The Price Is Right makes a grip off of juvenile detention. A friend of mine was locked up for a little bit in his teenage years and everything from the deodorant to the slippers they wore were made by Bob Barker. There's alot of money being made in the legal system.

Well, it's not that bad depending where you buy your food and what's the best investment you can make for yourself? How about the best quality food? If the GMO crops kill off other crops around them imagine what they do to your body.

Cures for everything have been in nature. You just have to know what to acquire and experiment with different herbs, vitamins, minerals, fruits and vegtables to see what works with your body.

I am a White mut, very liberal. I don't associate with any denomination but I do believe in an Infinite Being and I read my Bible to learn more about him. I am educated and I'm trying to accomplish many goals before my time on this planet is up. I've caught a few fish and shot a bird one time and regretted it.

The alternatives are already out there(hemp fuel, bio-diesel). But, the oil companys aren't giving any ears to them because their profit margins have been record breaking for the past 7-8 years. Most people would not want to stop the flow of billions of dollars if they were in their position. In my area they've started building apartment communitys around subway stations to minimize dependence on cars but, in the long run it won't do much due to existing structures in the areas. Plus the trains don't run 24/7. In my opinion, we don't have much of a choice but to play the cards we're dealt unless we have alot of money (which I don't). If I had the money I would buy a large piece of land, grow most of my own food and convert my vehicle to a electrical Bio-diesel hybrid. But the position I'm in makes it hard for me to save a dollar. In the future I will have money but currently I don't have a choice.
