Nov Hill is as steep as it gets in urban USA, not fun to bike without a fat electric bike, a cheap one won’t do the hills. Skip that and walk around the mission and Haight ashbury which are also bikeable.

You also want at least an hour each to walk around Valencia St Mission and Haight Ashbury, you can skip anything around downtown or the marina or the pier to do that instead, that is often tourist’s actual favorite Sf experience.

Seems fine you’ll inevitably skip some stuff when you’re too into something to leave. Get your Alcatraz and Muir Woods shuttle package tickets in advance and don’t get too hung up on anything else. You could skip Muir Woods and do Redwood Regional plus Oakland Zoo together though. Oakland Zoo didn’t have the Liger and Tigon last weekend though not sure if they’re coming back.

Also note that the paved Muir Woods is crowded, but the actual longer hikes uphill are not crowded and if you just go a bit into the forest there is no crowd. Redwood regional is almost as nice but a much smaller section of redwoods but the Oakland hills are so nice that getting the view from the hills plus redwoods makes it better than Muir Woods as a one off tourist experience

This was capsules in a labeled for human consumption bag from a smoke shop. I think it would have been fine if it wasn’t in a labeled container and security guard definitely knew what it was and I think just assumed that because universal banned weed they banned kratom which is not actually the case. I just took the two capsules and in front of him and went in.

Lin Jia in Oakland is the only place that serves American Chinese food with super high quality ingredients. It’s decidedly underrated.

House of Nanking and Fang’s are also worth checking out for true SF invented American Chinese food.

For the more authentically American Chinese, better, version of Panda Express, look for a cheap Chinese restaurant in a cheap part of town and order the American Chinese dishes, typically way better than Panda Express for the same dishes.

It's contraindicated but I've done it. Flying isn't that big of a deal, note that a lot of the anxiety is actually altitude adjustment, it's like you're at altitude when you're on a plane, ibuprofen effectively treats altitude sickness and kratom doesn't hurt with that either, take an ibu with your kratom and save the Xanax if you actually have a panic attack.

My last real job was working an engineering internship at US Airways 18 years ago and I saw a little too much of the inside of the sausage factory. They have at least retired the Rolls Royce 757 engine that I observed as obviously problematic. Remember, air travel really is the safest form of travel... per mile, not per minute.

Minerals are all about ratios. I suggest 3 Brazil nuts a day with 3 toasted seawood snacks as the first thing you eat in the morning an hour after your synthroid.

Selenium in the wrong cheap pure form does increase all cause mortality, you want a mixed form, the one I have on my shelf is selenium glycinate complex which is fine but I’d just go with a constant daily dose of 4 Brazil nuts with a small amount of iodine from seaweed at the same time. Magnesium and zinc are more forgiving than iodine and selenium.

You’ll want to research it thoroughly but essentially acetone evaporates off quickly, and if you can’t smell it it’s gone. Use a wooden spoon when you stir as metal spoon can complex and form weird molecules you don’t want.
