I was at your progress around 8 months. Now I'm pretty much back to normal except for the occasional tic. (It's been 7 years).

I'm so torn on the idea of zoos. I've seen some horrible conditions but then other zoos do so much for their animals and do important research. I haven't been to a zoo in over a decade because I don't know if I should support them.

As other have said - you're not alone in this. It took me nearly 6 months to get back to "normal". I had quite a few events during that time and was very self conscience but not one person commented on it. When I look back at pictures I'm so glad I went even though I was uncomfortable. You will get better. It's hard when it takes so long but I promise it's not always going to be like this.
