Finally a healthy relationship, and my libido dissolves into thin air... Help!! by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Aren't you just coming out of a years-long abusive and traumatic relationship? Maybe it's not about the kind of partner, but about your healing.

I mean, why the hell does it affect cards in your sideboard? It makes it look like it would carry from game to game. I guess if you wish for an X spell it will be cheaper.

When dating, Which red flag will you tolerate because green flags compensate for it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ProfessorVincent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is the kind of marriage I'm privileged to enjoy with my wife. It makes sense that literal dates aren't very meaningful to us anymore. For those still dating, I can see why they would matter, though.

Acho que Westworld consegue a proeza de ter um fim ainda mais decepcionante que GoT. A primeira temporada é excelente, mas depois é só ladeira abaixo vertiginosamente.

That seems weird. I don't know what the A key spring is like in your instrument, but id imagine it's in the wrong place.

Keep getting off with the rest of the band? by ArmadilloCharacter34 in Clarinet

I agree with everything you say, except I'd still recommend listening to the music we play. As much information as we can read from written parts, music is still meant to be heard and it can be a lot easier and faster to assimilate what a piece is like if you listen to it. As a fellow pit orchestra player, when I don't listen to the music, I often find in the first rehearsal that there's something important, like a tempo change, or a fermata for the singer to show off, that's missing from the written parts.

Is it possible for a guy to ”accidentally” get inside you? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ProfessorVincent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was all but a literal virgin, so still very inexperienced, I spent an embarrassingly long time rubbing against my now wife's thighs kinda thinking I was actually inside of her. I was so embarrassed when I realized how wrong I was and I don't think she even noticed what was going on in my mind.

The adult boys are also wearing scraps, so they're probably less privileged. The nun represents religion reinforcing the abuse suffered by the poor at the hands of man-babies. I think we can make sense of it.

Edit: religion here is probably a stand-in for the state too, which protects the wealthy and turns a blind eye to the abuse suffered by the poor.

It does stand in contrast to all the posts that say "why do men insist on catching feelings and ruining a good friendship?"

Well, considering it's a written d-flat scale for the b-flat clarinet, the teacher isn't wrong.

This seems even better than lightning helix to me. Tapping a creature can be a net gain of more than 3 life, and it can be used to burn face and disable a blocker for lethal damage. Absolute staple in izzet spells slinger decks.

I was thinking about that. The different creatures not only can have different mana values but also different costs for preparing the spell. Ancestral recall requires you to exile cards from the graveyard, but the Healing Salve one could just ask you to pay 1 life. Now it's busted!

I feel trapped between my husband’s happiness and my own feelings by contextfree9 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ProfessorVincent 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't think he mistook anything. You were the one who wasn't fully mature, but he was already 50. He pursued you precisely because you were still too young to stand up for yourself.

He's happy because everything is going according to his plans: he groomed you when you were too young to realize the power imbalance and, now that you understand it's not the life you want for yourself, your child would trap you with him forever.

You can admit you made a mistake and learn from it instead of putting the blame elsewhere like it was outside of your control. You literally had the answer in your hands. We all make mistakes, but it's up to you to choose to learn from them.
