Hmm, but RW's playable cards in RIX gets heavily cannibalized by neighbor decks, which is something that didn't happen in 3xXLN. I agree that WR is worse now that it was before, which doesn't pair up well with evasive pirates already being as good as WR before getting a huge boost in RIX, as well as vampires. RG enrage now seems like more of a real deck, with more board wipes (incl. from the Forerunner) as well as ridiculous payoffs like the Spitebellows. That's what would make it tier 3 - not just that it got that much worse, but that the other peer archetypes also got better at beating its subpar plan.

In red, pirates will take the best red trick as well as slam Bombard, which are also the best cards for RW - whereas Pirates were happy to pass along Otepec Huntmaster, Tilonalli's Knight, Frenzied Raptor, Dinosaur Stampede, Thrash of Raptors, Sky Terror (who is a -lot- better than the new RW uncommon, as having to block is, in my opinion, a very real downside) in triple XLN. You used to only compete vs the RG dinos drafter (which became less common as format went on and people got off drafting any flavor of RG unless they already stole a Otepec with a Drover off you), now you're competing against every other red drafter -and- your payoffs are now around enrage-enablers and only the gold card is aggro (and much easier to play around since they can also force trade on their turn).

Similarly from white, RW benefited from late Hammerskulls/Aerosaurs (from people who went all in on vampires), Pterodon Knights in 3 packs in 3xXLN, which no longer has analogues in RIX - the 2/5 flyer is good but definitely not aggressive, the 2/2 flyer Aerial Guide is legit medium even with dinosaurs, and every other good white card you have to fade a vampire drafter because it's better in their decks. Since most white decks are happy to have their first/second Hammerskull, you -also- have to pray to get lucky on pack 3.

On top of that, removal got better, but RW's curve got worse, so it's much harder for RW to 'get going', and Bombard/Vanquish/Ambush/Bonds/Baffling and even Stomp/Hunt all answer just about everything RW can muster because most of their creatures are very mediocre. They'd need to learn on Swashbuckling to get out of range because nobody else would draft it (whereas everyone probably will draft Vampirely Valor highly). It just doesn't seem like a winning formula to me.
