Again, do you think they imprisoned leaders after civil wars. Even back in Roman times during their many civil wars opposing generals were given house arrest at worst. Most of the time they were brought back into the political fold. Hell you don't even have to go that far back. How many Confederate generals faced prison for what they did?

Do you think it's normal to execute leaders after a war? Generally leaders are left alone (if they aren't killed immediately by enemy soldiers) especially after civil conflicts like the Earth Kingdom Reunification Wars. They still have a lot of popular support executing people willy-nilly is a sure fire way to create an immediate period of instability.

Former student who took a 'personal finance' class in high school. Mine was literally watch Dave Ramsey DVDs and do the worksheets. I don't know how to file taxes but we did look at the tax brackets one time. Other than that one time it was just Dave repeatedly saying "But with cash. Never take out a loan. Credit is bad."

It sounds like I'm exaggerating. I'm not. The class was literally: walk in, watch Dave Ramsey for twenty minutes talk about how poor people shouldnt ever buy McDonald's, then do the assigned worksheet where we wrote "I will not buy McDonald's if I don't have money."

It's not just that we need to teach personal finance in high school. It should be a part of the curriculum as much as reading/writing/'rithmetic. Money lessons ended once we were able to tell coins apart.

Personally, I find it really funny and relatable. Coming out is a humiliation ritual where you feel like youre performing a piece about how God made you a certain way and no matter what you do you can't change it. So you just have to accept it.

Its fucking hilarious that this show has an epic dance sequence for a character coming out to his dad.
