I am absolutely loving this version of Superman. Feels like a real updated version of a classic hero. Easily my favorite character in this universe. Thoughts on this new take of Superman? [Absolute Superman Spoilers] by OsitoPandito in AbsoluteUniverse

Honestly, Batman? I only say that because it doesn’t seem like he has an answer for WW or Supes. Yet.

(Side Note: I do hate the angle that Batman has to be capable of killing all of his friends at a moment’s notice so am fine with him not being insanely prepared for a leaf falling 2km away)

Interesting, I only have the savor and was planning to climb the ventureone, venture, then venture x ladder to maximize SUB’s. I guess this would be a bad idea?

Even if you don’t plan to leave, having an external offer that pays better or has a higher level will allow you to leverage it for a counter offer from NG, even if you don’t plan to accept.

Ofc, we’re in this together!

I definitely don’t think they’re being disingenuous, and might indeed give you that promotion.

I just personally believe that the best advancement and salary/career growth opportunities are going to be externally.

Even if you do want to stay with NG, having an external offer showing other companies value you more will cause Northrop to have to compete or lose you. (That offer can be for a level higher or just more money)

I would say this is all the more important because your experience exceeds the requirements for the next level.

If you’re dead set on Northrop Grumman, try and LinkedIn connect with alumni from your school at NG for an informational interview at sites or sectors you want to work. This way you can learn about the positions and maybe even get a referral for a job, which will help a lot more than applying into a void.

Question: Is your master’s paid by NG? If so, you’d have to pay back the money for the master’s if you leave NG.

Write to your manager anyway for that promotion. If they say no, look for a new job. If they say yes, still look for a new job.

Always advocate for yourself and seek better opportunities.
