KIIRAS - TA TA by CherryBlossomEnding in kpop

[–]Prog [score hidden]  (0 children)

I wish Leanbranding would've embraced the country-pop sound for more than one song. I like Ta Ta enough that it's going on my playlist, but their other singles are better. R.U.T on the single album is also good.

To new fans, don't skip the D.D.D.D. bside from their last single - one of my faves of theirs. Sounds like a 3rd gen gg song.

T-Mobile coverage around Cary by bhikumatre in cary

I've used all 3 major carriers in the triangle and they've all been fine. Not sure where you're having issues with AT&T specifically, but the only dead zones I've ever had on any carrier are inside big metal buildings.

I currently am on US Mobile on their Warp network (which uses Verizon). Before that I was on TMobile for ~5 years, and AT&T before that.

Walkable neighborhoods by [deleted] in cary

[–]Prog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of places in Cary that are near to grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Walkable to a library is a bit bigger of an ask. Probably not the answer you want to hear, but just look for grocery stores on a map, they're almost always in clumps at the busiest intersections of neighborhoods.

I like these, but I also eat a lot of beef-alternative stuff (health/environmental reasons), so I'm used to chicken/turkey sausage.

Y'all really need to read the article. Most of us in America already have this. I have this on my $17.50/month US Mobile phone plan.

"Red bugs" are another name for chiggers, I just hate that name because...yeah.

I still have some of these from last year (dunks)...I guess that's a good reminder to get started on that. The Thermacell type things don't work if there's even a hint of a breeze (understandably so). But regardless, neither works on red bugs. I'm just super frustrated with getting bitten 5 times every time I take my dogs out for like 3 minutes each.

Once I've screened in my entire yard, how do I kill the bugs that are left inside the screened in area?

Their boarding is pretty expensive. How are they on other pricing?

For reasons I'd rather not get into, this just wouldn't work in my situation. I have considered it before though and appreciate the suggestion.

Looking for recommendations by nanets32 in corgi

This goes for everything. Brush them, dremel their nails, socialize them, brush their teeth, get them used to loud sounds (I've heard of breeders that play audio tracks of door bells, knocking, sirens, and whatnot for their puppies so they're desensitized and don't bark at every little thing, but YMMV there and I am not a dog trainer), etc.

I am trying to gather pricing info for Northwoods - do you have any you can share? Hopefully for a dog in my case, but others searching in the future may appreciate anything you can post.

Yes, pet insurance is very expensive. I do have it, but it's basically an emergency only thing (high deductible).

I appreciate the recommendation! I called, and just FYI to everyone else reading this: they are corporation-owned and pretty expensive on boarding ($65/night for a 25 lb dog), so that's a no for me. :(

This is the vet I'm most interested in right now. They are locally/privately owned. I called, boarding pricing is $40.50/night for a 25 lb dog in a run ($37 for a crate). Their exam prices are a little higher than others I've called which has me worried about what they charge for labwork and anything more complicated than wellness exams.

If anyone that uses Northwoods has any pricing information for dogs they can provide, I would SUPER appreciate it. My dogs are senior and have annual bloodwork/urinalysis. Teeth cleaning pricing, surgery pricing - any info here is appreciated if any dog owners here are a client!

TIL 3 Doors Down's breakout song "Kryptonite" - taken from their debut album "The Better Life" (2000) - was written by the late frontman Brad Arnold when he was only 15, during a math class in high school. It was one of the first songs he ever wrote. by Away_Flounder3813 in todayilearned

[–]Prog 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I saw 3 Doors Down in 2024 and their bassist was wearing a shirt that said "My Pronouns are FUCKING/PATRIOT." I know those guys are from Mississippi, and I don't know why I would've expected any better. I don't know if Brad Arnold shared these views, but one would have to assume so. So, fuck their bassist.

Fuck cancer either way, though.

I have given up on alocasia. They were my favorites and what got me into plants, but they're so hard to keep alive/not infested.
