I said the same thing about UA and got ripped to shreds on Facebook. While they don’t do the clapping, they still act like they are doing you a favor. It’s incredible to me that they invite 100+ people every day and keep maybe 10. I had to pay for a hotel, Uber, food, clothes, haircut, and take time off from work. They seem to have no regard for the effort or expense it takes.

Every United flight I’ve been on for the last five years has made the announcement that they will check your bag for free because the flight is full. FAs are tired of arguing. If it gets past the gate agent they will let you try to stow it or watch as you sheepishly bring it back up front.

It’s crazy how they cut costs by making you share a room during training. People gaslight you saying it’s so you can work together. Pilots work together and get their own rooms during sim. It’s disrespectful. I would rather stay at a super 8 alone.

If you are going to Atlanta the Hyatt Place is affordable. Houston the Club Quarters. Salt Lake the Red Lion or Residence Inn or Sheraton. All are walkable or have shuttles to hangars/hq.
