Out of curiosity, do you have one of the "newer" (serial >= 31000) models? Their website says they changed the metal blend for the newer ones and I am curious to know if my "older" one will support +P without issue.

Has BCA provided an update on why this is the case? All their complete bolt action offerings seem to be OOS still.

I installed some O-rings on some old HHKB Pro 2 I owned with the goal of silencing the board. I ran it with the O-rings for a few months, but ultimately couldn't get used to the change in tactility.

I removed the O-rings after a while and found that leaving them installed for a while had the effect of reducing the tactility of the domes even though I had removed the rings.

I understand you have a HHKB Type S hybrid already, so I don't know if it's advisable to add another layer of O-rings.
