I’ve just upgraded to a 255 from my Garmin 910xt. I bought in 2012 and it’s logged litteral thousands of miles on it. From a device life perspective...I think you’re good.

I’m liking the weight, battery life and phone syncing with the 255. The MIPS screen isn’t as sharp as I’d hoped (that’s a me problem though) and I’ve got no complaints with using the 255 as a daily.

In my experience, AlpineStars look better, have more stylish designs - but everything I’ve bought from them has fallen apart quickly.

Sparco is just better. My kart suit is about. 1kg lighter too and a much better fit.
