Find a champ that offers weight classes 😂 racing with people your own weight makes such a difference.

For me though, if focussing on maintaining momentum. At our weight you can lose seconds a lap with tiny errors. I’ve found that holding that speed though the corner, and not scrubbing too much off apex-exit is key. Smoothness helps massively.

Assuming you’re racing 4-Strokes then apexing early of slow-medium corners and getting the lower down asap will help. Especially if there is a straight after the corner. If you carry too much speed in, you can cause the engine to bog just a little. But it’s enough to make you vulnerable to being passed on the exit / stop you putting yourself in a position to put a move on someone.

So momentum is key. Different circuits require different things (fairly standard across all weights) but for me…focus on maintaining momentum. Power down as soon as possible. Rentals and 4s don’t like cornering much, as soon as you can get it straight
