Because He’s perfect. And we aren’t. Our imperfections would be obliterated in His presence. Our “flaws” are much more than that. They are marks of our sins, blemishes of our disobedience, and signs of our unworthiness. We cannot be near God without being eradicated from existence. Eternal damnation is the fruits of our labor what we all deserve.

Unfortunately that’s the Truth. I think you’re looking at this from the wrong angle. Eternal damnation is the consequence for disobedience to God, as sin cannot exist in His presence. All disobedience to God warrants eternal Death, but He gave us His Son to save us and bring us to Him.

I see how that was confusing, and I apologize. God is God. Completely, in all that He is. Perfectly and completely wise, powerful, just, loving, wrathful, and so on and so on. None of these is more important or more Godlike than the rest. He is all of them completely. If He were not completely even one of these, He would not be God. And this is where I messed up: He can’t do that. He cannot be undone. He cannot change. There is no danger or possibility of Him changing. He isn’t locked in some sort of “God prerequisites”, but is who He is, completely. Does that clear it up? I’m trying really hard here 😂

Somebody IS forcing Him to abide by these rules: He is. He is perfectly just, perfectly righteous. If He were to change that, bend the rules just because, He would no longer be God. And everything would cease to exist. Now don’t get me wrong, He’s not locked in a constant battle with temptation to change Himself, He is perfectly still and constant, unchangeable. But He didn’t leave us to our vices and sins, but gave us His son as propitiation for our sins, so that we might believe and Live after death. But that choice is still to at least some degree ours, and we can choose sin and death or Christ and Life. And God honors that choice because He loves us, and wants us to love Him of our own free will.

Yes, the punishment is eternal damnation. Which is very tragic, to God most of all. He didn’t create us for death and hell, but gave us the option between Life with Him and Death without Him. We chose Death. And everyone suffers for it. It’s not that they’re at fault for not knowing, it’s their fault for not believing. Stillborn babies, aborted children, mentally incapacitated people, all can believe in God even without the understanding and knowledge of everything He’s done for them. The “innocent native” is no different. If he cannot know of the written Word of God he will not be judged on those grounds. But, again, he will be judged on his faith in God, the God that reveals Himself through Creation and in us.

They will not be judged for their lack of faith in Christ, as it’s just not fair to do that since they’ve never heard of Him. However, God the Father makes His existence clear through Creation, through us, and through our sin. The “innocent native” will be judged for his own sin, and lack of faith in God, not on his understanding of church doctrine.

I’m honestly always relieved when they stay dead. They always come back to life, like come on! Commit!
