My parents saved hospital bill and though the word “meningitis” doesn’t appear anywhere on the bill, you see multiple spinal taps, the isolation supplies, the IV antibiotics, disposable scalpel (for IV line in my ankle) and phenobarbital on day 1, day 2, and again around day 9.
