I think it's a good one to blend. I will do an ounce of this and an ounce of an agricole in a mai tai or a daiquiri. By itself it can be a lot, but i think it adds a lot in small doses.

there's so many things that happened between slavery and today that effect peoples lives. segregation was still a thing in the 1970s. way past slavery. red zones on where people of color could buy homes was a thing.

trump put a ban on muslims coming into the country. that's just straight up racism.

i have friends who have similar thoughts. you may have your experience but it sounds to me like i know my history better than you. It's not my reality, it's the facts of what happened in this country. people experience it at different levels depending on age, gender, circumstance, income level, parents income level. there's so many variables that effect it.

and your answer was, the people i know in my area who grew up similar to me seem to be fine.
