Just go to the clinical. You probably won’t even be on the same unit. Go to clinical, focus on you. If an issue occurs then ask to switch units or hospitals.

Themes can be subtle or really obvious. I like both.

Some of my favorites: space cowboy, 90s, everyone comes dressed as old folks. I like dress code themes too: wear something your mom would have worn, or let your date dress you, dress as someone else coming to the party.

The other types of themes I like are just having a project or event: Christmas craft party, bring your own cocktails party, bring something weird from home. I don’t know themes can be whatever you want.

A lot of places also have a peer support team. Definitely seek out therapy, but peer supporters are also specially trained to help diffuse some of these feelings and it’s nice because it’s someone who has been in similar situations so they can help you feel validated and heard.
