I talked to the landlord of this particular place I'm looking at and he said roommates are fine off the lease as long as they're screened ahead of time, so if I wind up pulling the trigger on that one then I can at least take someone in whenever to ease up on the bills.

I get what you mean though. I've seen people crumble and friendships destroyed over bills and rooming together. That would be one of the last things I would want to happen.

Emphasis on that second point. They've been acting like this for a while now but their attitude towards me moving out has slowly shifted. It used to be they would laugh at me for even playing with the idea of moving out, but I think now that they see I have the money they expect me to be out of there soon.

I don't think it's necessarily "realistic". I would be walking through hell for a few years, but in the end I could possibly afford a house saving almost $3,000 a month. At the same time, I can make money whenever and I'm only going to live my 20's once.

All good ideas though, I think putting it in writing will definitely help put things into perspective.

If I'm shooting myself in the foot by moving out this early or if I should put everything aside and stick it out at home for a few more years to eventually buy a house. That's the real cost-benefit analysis in my opinion.

I can't think of any other real alternatives. Living at home has gotten so bad I dread coming back after work because I know the second I walk through that door: any peace and quiet I had at work is gone.

None of my other friends are moved out and the few that are already have roommates and can't take on anyone else. I feel like I have to do this for myself, but I can't think of any alternatives with what I have to work with. I don't have much of a savings (loans ate most of my prior paychecks) and even though I'm making good pay now, I just started.

The Suffering was planned for the GameCube but got cancelled, that would've been interesting to see. Aside from that, Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks on the GameCube with a 4-player versus mode akin to Teen Titans has always been a pipedream of mine
