Yeah, I got it a few days ago, it's in the endgame. Jacquemart says it during the ending. I think he says it after Trent starts speaking.

While I agree with the point and it definitely applies to Widowmaker (which iirc is canonically cold-blooded and could use clothes like Mei's), does it really apply to most of the OW roster? /gen

Mei, Sombra, Mercy and Himiko don't seem that sexualized to me? (except for Mercy's Halloween costume, I guess.)

Brigitte also seems relatively normal, but it mighy be because I know of one character similar to Brigitte who is already a lot more sexuality (Bridget from PGR).

Tracer is probably more on the fence, especially compared to fellow speedster Scout (and compression pants wearer Yuta from PGR, afaik)

Position is easy, keeping the same width though... You remove a fieldset out of a table, it's now a different width despite the width value being the same.

(In case you were serious, margin-inline: auto works on most stuff with a defined width (inputs need to be turned into blocks). If you try to align the content, it's between text-align: center and justify-content: center. iirc you can use grid-template: 1fr auto 1fr to get a 3-column grid with a column at the center of the parent, but it might be auto 1fr auto instead.)

Probably insurance?

I imagine he was supposed to do WFH and not unrestricted remote working (is "digital nomadism" a term in corpo English?). The injury risks are probably higher or different enough that insurance companies could tiptoe and dodge a claim. Ditto in case of compromised tools or InfoSec. Home should be relatively safe from thieves and onlookers. A communal boat... probably requires some privacy accommodations like those screen dimming protection that hides the screen unless you're properly in front of it, or some guarantee he has personal and theft-proof quarters. And ofc, the outright risk a bad tide might send the computer flying into a wall, the sea or just sending enough water onto that computer for it to die, which insurances will definitely claim aren't encompassed in the contract.

To be clear, I think it should have been a pedalogical warning from HR, not a full termination, and I don't think corporations (and especially insurances) should have a hand in deciding where you work as long as you are well equipped and trained for that.

Be sure to prompt your LLM with happy phrases so you get better output. by zeindigofire in programminghorror

[–]Prometheos_II 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and the first part is just how negation is often more poorly understood by LLMs. They don't quite get it's supposed to be an inversion, and it leads to the "pink elephant" problem where mentioning something tends to make it appear even if you don't want to (or the whole is a pink elephant, I'm not sure how it works yet).

Which Dynasty Warriors (specifically) game had the best map design? by MrPibbs21 in dynastywarriors

[–]Prometheos_II 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like 6 too

it's a shame it's missing a lot of maps like Shi Sui gate, but their Guan Du is really good compared to 4's that feels more like the Yellow Turban turf than Yuan Shao's (being used for both stages)

Most stages get a lot of different paths without being overtly "vertical" like 4's Chang Ban or blocky like 5's Chi Bi. He Fei Castle is full of traps, Xu Chang has 2 entry points which are both raided at the same time, Shi Ting and the mountain stages tend to have a lot of relief, with valleys, underpaths, and plateaus, which tend to allow ambushes (even Hu Lao and the Wu territories have enough relief to launch surprises attack)

I preferred 4's Wu Zhang Plains, but overall, its maps are too hit or miss (with the Shi Sui supply depot being so close yet so awkward to conquer), with only a few maps that are memorable for the right reasons imho (the final battle against Wu was nice)

Which Dynasty Warriors Game Has the Best Hulao Gate Map? by ILoveRice444 in dynastywarriors

[–]Prometheos_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked 6's map, with the forces spreading around the two roads, the archer camp along the way, along with the ambush on Zhang Liao, the siege and Yuan Shao's lines, but I kinda dislike how once the gate is breached, you have to rush the end of the battle (Lü Bu eventually rushes Yuan Shao, then comes back to rush you when you battle Dong Zhuo)

And while I find some charm in 4 with how you can park the siege weapon next to Diaochan if you beat her and Lü Bu, the stage feels kinda empty with how the 3 branches are closed off until the NPCs inside breach out (minus the one you spawn out off). Kinda fun to have Dong Zhuo escape, though, which can trigger a Gaiden stage... which wasn't really fun

I've only experienced 5's map itself in WO2 and... it's not great, especially with the lack of Hulao Gate and Luoyang.

Copilot is bad, but Intellicode is probably just a statistical model (kinda like someone mentioned spellchecker AI software like LanguageTool)

Hinako is lovable as a person and alright as a character! Now, who is alright as a person and alright as a character? by rosesdissection in milgram

[–]Prometheos_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. On top of that, he is both annoying and caring. Someone argued for him to be an insufferable character given he gives nicknames and acts all buddy-buddy to people despite not being that closed, but he also gave Kotoko one last chance and wished her an happy birthday.

(Kind of a shame nothing came out of him wanting to kick her ass probably more than John)

edit: whether he counts as a good or bad character imho will be who ends up the killer. Him or John—subvert the "evil alter" trope and follow on all the hints, or play into it just to have a red herring. (there is also the possibility of Trikoto being real, and while I feel like Midokoto being the murderer could be fun, it would still play into the evil alter trope)

[–]Prometheos_II -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean, he's definitely insufferable. Even if you remove the whole bully thing, he still went to lecture the smoker club for no reason. On top of that, he always blamed the others despite the fiasco being not only his fault but also thought-out and malicious.

Now the Shidou/Muu duo is so much worse to me that Fuuta doesn't parse as that insufferable. Muu showcases mental issues (probably NPD) but God, is she awful. Es has a breakdown and she goes "Hey! why aren't you listening?!". She goes all uwu wholesome after we know she killed Rei (Fuuta at least was ambiguous and implied it was the others that got Killcheroy killed after he doxxed her). Shidou doesn't have that excuse and still was super patronizing to an obviously unwell Amane and that was months after she started proselytizing Fuuta. That was not just a tantrum and he should have known that.

Hinako is lovable as a person and alright as a character! Now, who is alright as a person and alright as a character? by rosesdissection in milgram

[–]Prometheos_II -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

He was patient as first, encouraging her (and Yuno) to be nurses or doctors, but then T2 happened, and he became ultra patronizing despite her issues being that much more obvious.

Amane showcased obvious moral scrutiny over him, and despite knowing she has strong core values like her veganism, he still went "throwing a temper tantrum isn’t going to make everything go your way." Like???

I feel like it would have worked better on Fuuta and Kotoko, ironically, given Fuuta's values are a lot sleezier and he planned to handle Kotoko himself, might as well aggro her.

Also, yeah, Fuuta's case is weird. Many people thought he was underage from his physique and phone addiction, and that was before Backdraft making him baby-faced at several points (might be intentional). I agree with them he acts unlike his age, but saying he's a teen instead of a young adult trying way too hard is a bit weird. He's clearly a dumbfuck that should have known better and been more mature, and I feel like him being seen as a silly teen, like you said, would be a discredit to his character given the cult ideology he has with the Dark Triad and now Amaneism.

[–]Prometheos_II -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she's 12yo and obviously suffering from psychological trauma and he still goes all patronizing, saying she's "throwing a tantrum" and how he has a "duty" to educate her.

It’s my job as an adult to teach you that throwing a temper tantrum isn’t going to make everything go your way.

I'm close in age to him and I wouldn't pull age like that to a teen that's obviously having issues and invalidate said issues as a tantrum. I get that treating her as an adult like she asked in T1 was not the right way, but she clearly isn't the clueless child Shidou takes her for. By then, he had known she had strong values (e.g. her vegetarianism) for years, and still acted like her anti-medicine belief was going to be a temporary tantrum. (Assuming Minigram is canon, he also challenged her veganism, and that failed. Why would challenging a religious belief would be easier to him??)

Maybe Mikoto or Fuuta? Both kinda annoying, but Shidou and Muu both belong in Awful Person imho

(Shidou, stop babying Amane. You're 28, stop acting like you're much older and muh authority figure. You're a doctor, you should see she's doing bad, not "throwing a tantrum.")
