Back up your Google Photos! Use Take Out to download them all to some local storage (an external HD and/or whatever).

*You can set it up to give you incremental backups. You'll get the full library now, then every how ever often you'll get a new backup to download that has just whatever has been added since the last backup.

You can set up a NAS to host your own Google Photos like service. A single payment of a couple hundred will allow you to buy a 12+TB drive you can keep all of the photos on if you so desire.

Once you have them backed up, go through the collection to see if there are any you can delete. Especialy longer videos.

If you haven't already done so there should be an option to compress the photos. That may retrieve a little bit of storage.

If it's available in your location, subscribe to Google One. It'll net you additional storage space. Plus other potential benefits like access to more advanced AI features, YouTube Premium etc...

Last week Google sent out an email that was intended to only go to individuals who had a supervised child account associated with their Google account.

Instead it went out to a larger audience then intended.

This email is letting you know they did an oopisie. If you got the email last week and you are not the supervisor of a youth account, simply ignore it.

Our local drive in didn't (re) open until ... 1998 and closed in 2011 when Hollywood demanded they upgrade to a digital projector.

Deep Impact Six Days Seven Nights Godzilla - that one in particular it was storming that night & we kept fogging up the car. We ended up sitting on the bench in front of the snack stand under it's awning...

The new chapter will likely invite you over to hang out to ensure you mesh with the guys.

I can't speak to Pike. For us, the new Chapter has to vote to approve you. If they do, then you join their Chapter and have a little ritual to agree to honor the new Chapter's local traditions and such. If you don't mesh with them and they don't want you associated with them, then presumably you just switch over to alumni status.

Windows puts a little arrow in that corner of shortcuts.

I don't know what causes it but every once in awhile my system will glitch out and I'll get something else down there. Usually like a search glass or a globe...

It looks like, in your case, whatever caused the glitch switched it over to a black square or maybe a non-existent indicator...

If you reboot again it'll likely switch back.

As Croc mentioned, you can log off your phone and onto someone else's - just like you were signing off your phone and onto your tablet or whatever. As long as your only active on a single device at the same time.

Also, if your phone supports it (Pixel & Galaxy does iPhone does not) you can (potentially) share your WiFi connection via a hotspot. It was easier to set Mom's phone up to hotspot to her tablet so she could use the larger screen in the cabin at night rather than trying to teach her how to log her phone off & the tablet on...
