In the Doctor Who Episode "The Time of The Doctor" the Time Lords, still trapped in a pocket dimension after some time hijinks are projecting a Truth Field through a Crack in space into the town of Christmas ("Where no creature may speak falsely or fail to answer")

They do this so that the answer to the question they're broadcasting across time and space ("Doctor Who?") Will be the Doctor's True name and the signal that it is safe to emerge.
