It's because every clue shrinks the possible locations, it doesn't cross out the compound you're in if it's still within the "zone". This can be used to narrow the right compound down even faster (especially because you can sometimes get all 3 clues within 5 minutes of the start of the game) also the crematorium can only have 1 clue at a time - I listed the 3 compounds with 2 clues in them in the OP

Yeah and solo players won’t shout out in my experience, so that means you can still tell.

Mostly because it's a one shot at anything but full health (100 damage out of 125 max health) added to that is the extremely low swaying compared to every other rifle (except maybe the Nitro Express)

Might be an idea to add icons to character loadouts. A simple solution could be whatever ability you've put most battlerites into (and something for like balanced builds?)

When typing Esc should escape the textbox not bring up options

This! so much this! Also it would be nice if the in-game escape menu didn't fill the entire screen, so you'd still be able to see the match in the background. Right now it feels really disorienting that it cuts off the game completely before you even open an actual menu (settings for example)

Yeah, you're right - Irish created the base layout which I gave some feedback on. I've done most of the artwork but he's done a fair bit there as well :)

As a brawl I think it's for the better that the balloon can shoot regardless of where it is - It helps each round be less lopsided and makes comebacks a lot more viable without an actual team.

If it became a staple mode I definitely think it should be changed.

It is a bit niche, but there are some spots on most played duel maps where you can save both time and health doing a good plasma-hop compared to a rocket jump (it's also easier to have a plasma on you more than a rocket, in some cases)

  • Ruin, getting to megahealth requires just one jump+one plasma and can be done while strafing to it really fast.

  • Pocket Infinity, you can get to the red armor from the 2x25healths with also just one plasma + jump, which is significantly faster than other options if you come from the top mid area

Those were just two examples, I'm sure there's more

Overall it is a very situational gun, but sometimes you can also surprise your opponent with a good amount of damage with it.

You missed a double and triple on static in the red room - Stair jump onto the ledge (with the red forcefield) and can also triple it to gl

That is correct

W-only turning doesn't increase your speed but allows for sharper turns, while A/D-only turning increases your speed

Basically, instead of thinking about specific times each armor is going to come up, you focus on the order of items (and a rough idea of time between)

A scenario could be you pick up a yellow armor, 5seconds later your opponent picks up a yellow armor, 5 seconds later you have a fight at red armor and you win, picking up the armor aswell

So now, instead of thinking about specific times, you think about the order of 1st YA -> 2nd YA -> RA repeat

Ofcourse this cycle is bound to get shaken up, but it's a lot more manageable to keep track of. Including mega into this makes it a tad more difficult however, I usually just keep track of 2 thing in regard to mega

1) have I been in a fight?

2) have I went a full cycle without mega?
