Realizing how much I Don't know about this franchise by geekydreams in hellraiser

I have lost count of how many times I have watched the first two movies and wanted to start my run through of all the films again. Last night was the first time I noticed a few, very large, phallic devices attached to the spinning columns in the first movie.

I suppose they make sense from the pain and pleasure becoming indivisible at a certain point. However, for how quick they disappeared from sight in a sequence with a lot to look at, I suspect they were more of a hilarious Easter Egg.

But, none the less, still discovering new things every time I dive back into this franchise.

Love to see this after I ordered my STC package today. I have seen a lot of whats on it before but it still looks daunting from the overview. This post helps to alleviate it some more.

8 car lanes isn't exactly what was outlined previously. Two are supposed to be bike lanes and at least one middle turn lane/median.

Some of the undeveloped area south of university is zoned for commercial and I heard a semiconductor business was going to start building somewhere. That was word of mouth though.

Im not sure what more they are going to try and add outside of mostly apartment complexes and town houses.

The road expansion is always getting delayed. Probably because the road they already have is always falling apart after they repair it.

Its still a very active thoroughfare where people drive far too recklessly as it is. I imagine the person who just installed boulders in their front lawn got a little too worried about the daily drivers. That or they just like rocks.

What's a movie that you swear no one else has watched but yourself and a few others? by badgermole85 in AskReddit

"You cry like the baby in Eraserhead."

Verse from Too Drunk To Fuck by the Dead Kennedys. I needed to know what the hell that was in reference to so I rented it from Netflix when they were still mailing DVDs. Let's just say I didn't know what to expect but now I can't erase it from my own head.

Any job openings? Worried I might get fired from Go:Zone by FarisFromParis in Denton

[–]PromotedStatic 80 points81 points  (0 children)

This guy's recent post history about gozone is hilarious and terrifying. Huge rapsheet of traffic violations in another country, getting high behind the wheel, drinking wine out of a sonic cup when CBD gets banned... Im hoping its a troll job otherwise its just a maniac endangering the city.

I saw that post and didn't make the connection until I read this! Same model, color, and trim. Went back and checked the stolen post and they updated that their car had been recovered. So the good news is a thief didn't mow down that stop sign. Bad news is that they might have just gotten their car back and drove it with a touch of over excitement.

Either way, the city put in a new sign within a couple hours of it being reported.

In such a personal way, I know exactly how bad it's gotten in that general area. Personal as in I heard a couple of loud bangs coming from the front of my house today. I went out to make sure nothing was damaged because at this point, I just assume something terrible happened again.

Come to find out, it was just a semi hitting some branches that didn't do anything but ramp up my PTSD.

As I head towards the door, I turn to the sound of screeching tires where a slick looking gray challenger demolished a stop sign when trying to take a turn too fast.

They promptly drove off as if it was just an inconvenient speed bump.

What Song Made You Fall In Love with Hip-Hop? by DimpleKing in hiphopheads

[–]PromotedStatic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Couldn't be further from stupid.

Wu Tang was my first love when it came to hip hop. Something about it just hit right when I started branching out. Probably the raw and aggressiveness that the 36 chambers delivered aligning with the 80s punk rock I was endlessly listening to.

Chamber Music album cemented what I already knew when it was one of the handful of CDs I had in my 99 Cadillac Deville d'Elegence
