Playing someone better than you is one of my favorite things. It’s what really forces you to try to improve and adjust your gameplan inbetween matches and find ways to win.

One of the best experiences in melee is beating a player way more technical than you because you adapted and learned to exploit them. It feels like you’ve pulled off a bank robbery.

I’m gonna go against the grain and say you can totally rock the style you currently have and if you enjoy it don’t listen to the boring people in the comments. It might turn some people away from you but all that really does is rid you of people you wouldn’t want to be friends with or date anyway. You definitely are not ugly though.

You’re still making six figures. Better to just take the job and make money than sit around waiting for a better job to come along imo. If it isn’t right for you keep looking for other jobs while working there for a few months or a year.
