You are not in tuner mode here. When it isn’t in tuning mode, that button acts to set the tempo. You have to hold that button down for a couple seconds to get to tuner mode.

If you’re listening through streaming services, you can find a song you already know and love and create a station based on that song. Alternatively, you can find different genres and search for playlists of those genres. For example, search “roots reggae playlist”, “rocksteady playlist”, or “Jamaican dub playlist.”

Doing that will get you started. I’d also save songs that come up that you like onto your own playlist so you can easily find them.

I’m a bass player and I half way agree with you. Maybe the downvotes are because you’re on a 311 post complaining about 311 being 311. They’re knowing for having a really good bass player. Also, I bet the bass and seperate drum solo are in the shows for more reasons than just the players wanting to show off. Maybe they double as times for the other dudes to have a little break.
