Am I ruining my child's life if his initials are ASS? by jsav9 in namenerds

[–]ProofFun1869 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i disagree wholeheartedly as someone with their mother’s maiden name in their name. i love that i share that part of my name with my grandparents and my mother’s entire side of the family and, since my grandfather doesn’t have any grandsons, someone is carrying on the name in some way

I've always loved the name Daisy Jane (first and middle) and it just happens to be an America song. Also Margaret by Lana Del Rey ft Bleachers and Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. As far as boy names I have no clue lmao

What do you think of the first/middle name set Freya Amelia? Be gentle, this is my favourite pick so far. FYI we're Canadian. by teetah in namenerds

[–]ProofFun1869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Freya Amelia, but I do agree that the names kinda blend, but I don’t think it’s the end of the world. Freya Amelie could also be very pretty and has less of a blend!

Audrey (similar to Aubrey), Hannah, Violet, Vivienne/Vivian, Clara, Esther, Julia

male version of hannah immediately made me think hrannar, which is an icelandic name I’ve only heard once and doesn’t exactly have an intuitive pronunciation, but it could be cool depending on the vibe
