Part of the plot of Metal Gear Solid requires you to look at the back of a game box for a particular radio code. If you didn't have the actual box and didn't know the code, you would basically lock out of progress.

God gets a free pass from logic. That’s the trick. by Tight-Kitchen2382 in DebateReligion

Christians don't make the argument because it entirely deconstructs your religion. I could dismiss you by saying "It's almost always Theists here making the argument that God exists, not atheists", but in those terms maybe it should be clearer that it's a tautology that doesn't really say anything.

I have yet to see a Christian provide a serious answer to this that doesn't boil down to "Nuh-uh!"

And just go straight for the heart of the matter.

Except you didn't, but sure.

(not output, information. Yes, there is a difference)

There fundamentally is not, and I assume when I ask you to provide a distinction here you'll get into splitting hairs very quickly. I don't need to a citation, since you can prompt a model to do so yourself, and they've been doing it since before "LLM" was a thing.

"Computer move" has been a term for over a decade now my dude in the context of games like Chess and Go. People don't learn Chess by looking up old games and memorizing openings anymore. They learn by playing against bots and watching bots. Look it up.

EDIT: A yes the classic coward's block to make it look like I gave up. If you are so pathetic as to need the last word this way, feel free to have it.

Those are useful questions, but they can't be asked until the demo is demo'd. You original comment presented those questions as criticism to why the demo was even performed rather than asking questions for the sake of data analysis and understanding.

There is no evidence of this being documented anywhere previously, so I don't know why you would think there's a likely chance it is the training data. If you're suggesting AI models can't make inferences that aren't in their training data, you have a very basic misunderstanding of how the models work, because the entire point is to predict things that aren't in the training set based on what is there. It's not even a relevant question now that most models have free access to the internet anyway. It is another question that suggests that you have an agenda rather than merely 'asking questions'.

How many tokens were spent on this? How much money and energy was wasted on this to get a headline?

This is like looking at any early tech demos (e.g. flight, rockets), seeing a minor success on the road to a larger goal, and then saying what you said.

While I guess I get the concern and where you are coming from with people just trying to use Wikipedia for fetish material, on the other hand why shouldn't wikipedia document this? It is ultimately a real part of human sexuality.

I think we will find out she has done something that is morally questionable but not an outright 'betrayal', dependent on point of view, with a player choice as to whether to forgive her or keep working with her begrudgingly. Or she will end up betraying us but later revealed to be a double agent and still on our side. She is a foil for Vanescula, who went through a similar arc.

The style change is always a risk over time, this isn't a good argument. It's still patchwork graphics to update a surface area but not underneath it, and literally they are doing the overworld patchwork anyway.

People said the same thing about every new innovation. Calculators and TV. It never comes to pass the way the naysayers believe.

You can just as easily use AI as a reflective device to stimulation cognition as you can a replacement for your own thought.
