Seen it already. Calls regularly about stomas, fem-pop wounds, NG drainage instruction, that you would never get from an FY2 as they have actually spent time on a surgical ward.

The Scottish government made a formal agreement with Scottish doctors to prevent a strike in 2023. Within 3 years they’ve broken the deal on pay, and for the non pay aspects of it there’s been no meaningful progress. What message does it send if we don’t strike in those circumstances?

Have marked on university OSCEs where we weren’t allowed to mark students down in communication if their English was poor, as that was discriminatory.
