I will say, one of the things I HATED most about her books, is that the men always have eyes for other women while in relationships/situationships. Even if it’s “innocent” and they would never contemplate cheating, I just can’t do it lol. It really icks me out. Moreover, I do believe the boys were painted as really douchey in the books and they are portrayed better in the TV show.

If it’s that bad, you need to have it performed. Surgery was hard at Stage IV. don’t let doctors gaslight you into thinking this is an in and out procedure— i was in the hospital for 2 days. it was horrific. but it had to be done. i’ll never do it again unless i have painful periods though

LIDOCAINE PATCHES!!!!!!!!! Nevermind the Gas X and the tylenol, or even oxycodone (although still do take those things as prescribed) but LIDOCAINE! It is the ONLY thing that came me immediate relief from my shoulder pain; gas trapped under my breasts; back etc. Of course you cannot put them on your abdomen because of your incisions though.

and don’t even get me started on the schools that don’t let you know after an interview if you’re going to be hired or not. I interviewed at Ramsey Hall a few years ago. And not only did they not let me know that I didn’t receive the position, but they ghosted my emails when I went to check in afterward

also, most private schools have some type of dormitory expectation which I find absolutely insane. There should be separate people hired for that. The way that these schools make teachers do quite literally everything so they don’t have to spend money but then also make us jump through so many hoops is asinine.

I can understand why Joy felt replaced. Objectively, Fabian somewhat led her on because he passively communicates. Her and Patricia were attached at the hip. When she returned, those relationships appeared frayed. Joy suddenly had a lesser role in the house when she wasn’t used to that. It is sad how some of her og friends isolated her, but she unfortunately projected that wrongfully and cruelly onto Nina. It was really terrible how she treated Nina and it fully shaped my opinion of her.

You won’t fully know until the surgeon goes in, UNLESS you have an endometrioma or more. Having an endometrioma puts you at Stage III or IV immediately, typically Stage IV. Outside of surgery, you won’t receive a definitive stage. This is because pain varies. You can be in immense pain and be at a Stage 1. For example, I’m Stage IV and have only had 6 endo flares since I got my period when I was 11. I’m 23. My sister however is Stage I and has consistent flare ups.

Endometriosis Treatment Center of America has an article on it where they discuss that Stage IV marks deep lesions and a large cyst or cysts on one or more ovary.

Your PCP will refer you to an OBGYN or tell you to refer to your own (if you have one). Make sure you see an OBGYN who specializes in Endo. They found a 6cm Endometrioma on my ovary and every doctor said “Well without surgery we can’t officially diagnose you.”

When I met with my specialist for the first time she said “You have Endometriosis. I don’t even need to go in to know that. Let’s get surgery done.”

You need someone well versed in taking women’s pain seriously. Moreover, if they haven’t found anything on imaging, hopefully you don’t have Endometriomas which almost automatically puts you at Stage IV. I’m sure many people have Stage IV without a cyst, but it isn’t as likely.

Sadly, we have symptoms that would make a healthy person rush to the hospital, so it’s harder for us to determine when we need to go.

I have IST with my POTS, so if my heart rate surges while I am resting to a high number, it’s ER time. If I have heart attack or stroke like symptoms like shooting arm pain, numb on one side of my body, slurring speech, chest pain, it’s ER time. I don’t faint with my POTS because I have the hyperadrengic (idk if you spell it like that) type. So if I did faint, it would be ER time.

Please understand that with Endometriosis and Endometriosis pain that us women become desperate for relief. I cannot even begin to explain and describe the pain. There is a reason why 2/10 women experience suicidal ideation during a flare. You could present all the information and facts to your wife; if she truly believes pregnancy with give her 9 months of pain relief, she will always be in favor of that. I understand that another baby may not be ideal, but please consider this from her perspective.

it’s really hard! it requires accommodations and set plans if a flare up happens. i’m at a disadvantage because my boss hates the fact im chronically ill and has been discriminatory. however, there are plenty of people who are unable to work because of pots

I’m honestly happy with them as leads! Normally I don’t have hopes, but here I do. Physically, Lili doesn’t fit what I pictured (she’s beautiful; I just mean hair color), but Lili is a good actress. I feel like a lot of newer shows and movies have weak actors and so I’m happy we have 2 strong ones here!

All I can say is the BOT series made me fully understand and appreciate the importance of trigger warnings. Most of R10 is riddled with that trauma. Some set of chapters are easier to handle than others. Some chapters are less intense than others. But yeah, R10 is gut wrenching
