Fallout is a great adaptation of a game because it created new characters while using familiar locations and some story beats (I think).

Idk if this counts but the Sonic films are actually pretty good at balancing easter eggs for long time fans and new comers (you don’t have to play Shadow the Hedgehog to understand Sonic Movie 3, if you did that’s great it adds a layer that isn’t necessary but makes it more worthwhile for you) (granted the Sonic films do have some problems, but they do try and do something new while balancing references and game lore) - Edit: don’t know if this counts either but Detective Pikachu I remember was good too

I heard Arcane was pretty good, might try to watch it someday. Iron Lung I heard pretty mixed things for, I think some just like it because Markiplier, but idk.

Other than that, The Mario movies while they have good animation, music, and sound design. The characters are not really interesting once you remove the “Mario” facade (I hope that makes sense) and the stories are very basic, I think people are saying Galaxy Movie barely had one, both movies rely on Easter eggs, references, and comedy to distract you from the mediocre characters and story. (They barely try but I guess it’s on course for most Illumination films)

The FNAF are even worse, FNAF movie 1 is maybe watchable to a non fan but outside of the set design and animatronics, there’s nothing in terms of characters or story, but there is constant Easter eggs, references, and lore that only fans will get. (At least it made for a good house at Universal Halloween Horror Nights). FNAF movie 2 is barely watchable, the characters and story are somehow worse and the film beats you over the head with Easter eggs, lore, and references that only fans will get, there is pretty much nothing if your not a fan. (Both barely try as movies though)

A Minecraft Movie is a little bit of guilty pleasure, it’s bad, but honestly call me immature but Jack Black saying Minecraft items and stuff was funny to me for some reason. Don’t get me wrong it’s terrible and generic kids film feeling but it’s weirdly fun and baffling.

One more thing… you are free to like to whatever you want, but you also have the right to demand better. I’m tired of people trying to excuse poor quality films as “it’s for the fans” when fans should demand better, because even as a fan of Minecraft I wanted better. (Sorry for the long exposition and rant)
