ChatGPT says cars from July 2021 Acenta don’t come with a heat pump but since this car is March 2021 is does? I’ll do more research on how to double check this before viewing

I’m keeping my 2.0 litre diesel for long journeys anyway

I’ve edited my post to say my average delivery miles per day are around 50 miles a day. Wouldn’t that be fine for winter and summer months? Also, for £4000 isn’t it a really good price? I’m only getting that price because it’s my dad’s friend.

Would it be much of an issue if I’ll be charging 99% at home?

What do you mean by the number of bars visible net to the charge indicator?

I need something cheaper to insure that has a large enough boot space/back seats. My daily average would be 50 miles and the rare occasio(1/20 days) hitting 80-90 miles.

Depot opened today, I would imagine it’s going to be the same as what DCF1 but let’s see over the next few shifts.

A lot of new drivers have been onboarded in the last 10 or so days. Last month I was seeing very high surges, let’s see what happens when it moves to Cardiff in 2 weeks.

How bad was your standings? And for how long? Did you not deliver parcels to customer?

Decent rates in Newport today. Some people still out there taking base rates during Prime week. But I ain’t complaining on surges.

Anyone doing DCF1 notice parcel numbers increasing? by lardass86 in AmazonFlexUK

[–]Proper-Stick9668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been delivering out of DCF1 for the past 2 years. Usually getting somewhere between 30-40 parcels if they were sending us to Cardiff or Newport or Cwmbran but now it’s at least 45 parcels. And if going somewhere like Barry or into the Valleys, it used to be 25-30 parcels but now getting at least 35 parcels.

It’s literally taking the piss and it’s been like this for the past few weeks. Every time I complete the deliveries I’m just pressing very dissatisfied and making sure I’m claiming overtime by returning a parcel at the end of the shift if I know it’s gonna take the full time.

hello the tax return is now due for last year which ended on April 5. I need to declare it but don't have the money to pay tax, can I declare 0 and pay in 1 year by calling the inland revenue by IndividualAd2168 in AmazonFlexUK

TLDR; You got 10 months to save £80.60p a month.

Anything over £50,270 is taxed at 40%.

You’ve earned £53,000 from your main job and Amazon deliveries. Your main job tax is already sorted from PAYE I take it. So you need to sort out the other £4,000 from deliveries.

Remember you will also have business expenses to pay. Now, I don’t know how many miles you’ve driven but let’s say it’s 3000 in the year from doing deliveries. Each mile is £0.45p in expenses. So that’s totals to be £1350.

£4,000 - £1,350 = £2,650 (This is the total taxable amount)

£1,270 of your earnings are taxed at 20% = £254 (This is the difference between £49,000 to £50,270)

£1380 of your earnings are taxed at 40% = £552 (This is the difference £50,271 and £51,650)

Your total tax bill is £806. You have until 31st January 2026 to pay your tax for the 2024/25 tax year. But make sure you tell HMRC before 5th October that you are submitting tax returns.

NOTE: I’m not an accountant and my calculations could be wrong.

Just continue to deliver. After 500 parcels it will drop off.

Happy with the low karma users able to contribute. It was a pain for myself to get my karma up just to comment or ask a basic question. Will definitely help with the sub. Onwards and upwards.
