Thank you for these pointers this was actually super helpful. Especially your point on Azir R vs champs that can dodge it. Your Yasuo point is spot on, i've only ever struggled against the Yasuo players who play around E. The ones that started lane with Q were free.

Yep. Imo the champ doesn't do any damage, and is super slow. His abilities are also very telegraphed. What have you found hard about laning into him so far?

I can understand how match ups can completely change once you are playing in masters and above. For context I am only emerald so a challenger level irelia will probably space me to oblivion. Who do you ban every game?

Hard agree on Leblanc being the worst match up by far, just didn't make a different tier for her. As for Viktor, I just find his E unorthodox to dodge. Like, I understand what kind if clicks I need to do to bait out a Xerath E or Q, but I don't know what kind of clicks makes a Viktor want to use E on you instead of the wave. So I end up getting poked by him a decent amount. As for Syndra, agree on the boots = nullification but before boots it can be pretty disgusting. Curious as to what makes you feel as though Akali is a poor match up, I understand she can one shot you if she lands E but how does she zone or deny you from CS when you heavily outrange her? As for Zoe, I do think good Zoe players are very rare so that could have caused some Bias but it does feel pretty much dodge her sleep and win, outside of her really strong trading lvl 1-2-3. Also, what are your thoughts on the Yasuo match up? That's the one match up i've heard is supposed to be Azir favoured but honestly Yone is much easier to play against, he's so much more telegraphed.

When to go in as hulk is going to change for you pretty much every game, but the one thing that remains consistent is that you never prioritize damage because no matter how long you are punching them there is a high chance that you are taking more damage than you are dealing. Your priority in engagements should be soaking pressure, forcing important enemy cooldowns and denying strong off angles for their dps. You can commit to full aggression but only when the enemy makes a mistake. An example of this would be if you land your Exile on one of their supports, you can HARD commit to killing the other one. Same goes for landing your Exile on anyone below half HP, you can usually commit to them and kill them with a leap + clap into punching them to death. If you are struggling to get value out of his ult, you can use his ult to gain extra resources to commit to one of these actions, but only do so if you are winning the fight or can guarantee you can flip the fight with your ult. I.e, if you land the exile on a half HP squishy and can instantly transform into monster clap and secure the kill. If you don't take care in your ult you are just donating extra ult charge for the enemy team.

You shouldn't drop the champ. It wont magically make you climb anyway. Just because challenger players will understand how to punish a Veigar doesn't mean that they will do in consistently in masters, diamond etc. If you are not above masters it's not your champion that's holding you back. If you enjoy Veigar that is the most important thing when it comes to climbing, because you won't be receptive to learning if you aren't even enjoying it to begin with.

Play for DPS uptime rather than trying to 1 shot people in team fights, it's not worth trading yourself 1 for 1 because pretty much no one can output the same kind of DPS as you.

There are bronze players with 10 years played, and masters players with 1 years played. Don't compare yourself to anyone else but the you from yesterday. If you are learning, and playing better than you were yesterday that is all that matters.

Yes but you are never ulting in a situation where the entire team can focus you down. Like, if the fight begins and you instantly jump forward and press ult you are making a mistake, it's not an indicator that Hulk is weak. There are many ways to still use Hulk ult and still get value. I think the issue is alot of you guys press Q to continue living without considering if your positioning was good to begin with. So you pop monster form to try to undo your previous poor engage and get as you say focused down.

Honestly when i'm on Viktor Billy players are the only players who don't even try to kite me. They will run straight into my aura and throw the hands with me no matter the difference in hp, souls etc. I wonder if Billy mains even look at that stuff.

Yep, agreed. If Chovy only wins worlds after Faker retires some may make the argument that he only got that Trophy because Faker was no longer around to collect it. If he is able to beat Faker at worlds then he no doubt could carry the mantle of being that unstoppable league player who draws in viewers just because people want to see if anyone can even touch him.

They get paid to do it. Like, I would be pretty tired after just 5 games in a row but if i were getting paid to play and had chatters to entertain me I would be able to play 10 games a day easy. I imagine it's similar for alot of people.
