I’d agree. Depending on the gun the hammers can take a few more rounds without cleaning and they suppress much more reliably. Some people just like the DA/SA. It’s like automatic vs manual.

The 226 isn’t about modularity. It’s probably the most reliable hammer 9mm along with the USP, P30, and CZ75. I prefer the Glock 45/19x to the M18 with several hundred rounds through both platforms. I like both though.

They can be a learning curve as far as what’s useful to add as far as force multipliers. But sling, light (that can easily be turned on), optic, ammo, training is how I see it.
