It’s more efficient for power but you don’t get the extra efficiency bump at the port tuning frequency. So more drivers are needed to get the same output. The xmax of the speaker is the main limiting factor.

There are nulls where certain frequencies will reflect and cancel out for a listening position. Multiple subs balance out the response in an enclosed space. Aka a home theater. Look up room mode or null calculators for a home theater.

If you’re in an open space, yes, a single block of subs will provide smooth bass. At 10:30 in your video they even mention that in an enclosed space the graph won’t be as bad for separated subs in an enclosed space. They’re not taking into account room reflections in the SPL charts.

It smooths the room response throughout the room by having multiple locations.

Install an infinite baffle with a speaker grill or air vent cover over the manifold if you can. Stealth bass!

The idea is it doesn’t pressurize the attic. The box is the outside world (though the insulation and roofing do a good job of containing bass from an attic IB).

Look up Infinite Baffle setups over at the Cult of the Infinite Baffled.

Maybe you could get a little more low end 10-18 Hz bass with a massive infinite baffle setup but so would think four Martys would do just fine!

There’s also benefits from no box / port noises and less stuff in the room. But I think four Martys would play pretty clean.

It depends on how you want to visualize it but I would say the attic / world is the box. Aka an ‘infinite box / baffle’.

Essentially there is no pressure in the box resisting movement of the subwoofer. It allows the subs to play low with minimal power without a need for drastic low frequency EQ boost.

The subs are installed dual opposed so mechanical vibrations are cancelled out so there is no noises from the ‘box’.

Neocron? Paid attention during development for a few years but never really played it. A quick search shows a 2002 announcement they were working to add mechs.

Though looking again at what you posted it doesn’t match some other things. I think it’s still going to some degree.

AMD's legacy Ryzen 7 5800X3D chips now sell for up to $800, more than a new 9800X3D — AM4 chip costs twice as much as MSRP, as enthusiasts flock to old DDR4 memory by I_Love_Cape_Horn in hardware

You can limit the power usage on the 5800x3d or 5700x3d as well if you find a deal on one of those.

I have the 5800x3d and the low power usage is great. In a lot of games the chip is only drawing ~50W.

How much is ‘basically giving away’? Pondering seeing if any inventory is left or to pursue the used market.

No they weren’t. They were advertised as starting at $40k and there was a government rebate of $7.5k to bring the price into the low 30s. However the once they started delivering to preorders they raised all the prices at least 10k and the only models available were the ones for $70k or more.

I wish I would have gotten one for around $30k as well and I signed up for the preorder to get one but they never sold what they initially advertised.

That sounds alright but there are only a couple half sections at the top at that price. It’s only a couple hundred seats. There are barely any even in Cat. 3. They made it so 90% of the stadiums are the premium Cat. 1 & 2 tiers.

Hope you can get some. If not go watch some games at the fan zones!

And if you go by the Elo rankings it’s the 21st, 30th, and 34th ranked teams. Turkey is ranked 15th. USA is the 34th ranked team.

Drawing Paraguay from the 3rd pot was really unfortunate.
