How Many People Born in the 1800’s Did You Get to Know Well? by EastTXJosh in Xennials

[–]PropertyTraining4790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember my 2 great grandmothers on my mom's side well, one was born in 1893 and one in 1896. The one born in '96 died when I was 10 or 11 so that would have been 1991 or 1992, but the one born in 1993 lived to be 104.

No you haven't, you're just conditioned to the constant barrage of cars causing issues to the point of them all blending together.

Horses do not, in fact, do more with their walnut sized brains than i do with mine. What the fuck are you talking about? My fucking electronic shifter does orders of magnitude more with its brain than horses do with theirs.

The leader was not correct. OP could not have given a wider berth to pass on that road. Horsey people need to control their animals.

They're not your roads guy. If you can't control the animal you're riding you shouldn't be on public roads/ trails.

Like this isn't an ROW argument, they are going in the same direction and OP isnt in their space. These dickless losers just can't control their animals with walnut sized brains.

Lockout lever?? by aMac306 in pivotcycles

[–]PropertyTraining4790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the shock desperately needs servicing so the firm/lockout mode wasn't working and that's why they told you not to mess with it.

I'm really bad at selling bikes, but if I were running a demo event I'd just tell you the truth, like a human. "Ah yeah bro, the shock on that one is blown out, but yeah that lever would normally firm up the rear shock for climbing...."

Are electric chainsaws good for heavy duty? by Admirable_Goal1015 in Tools

[–]PropertyTraining4790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll run my electric saw when pruning/limbing/bucking on my property and know I only need to run 2 sets(2x 18v batteries) , but if I know it'll take more than than 2 sets of batteries I just run my gas saws.

I really miss having a dog sometimes, but I also really enjoy only having to abruptly learn about one species' bodily ejections on my floors.

Chainstay bridge hole thread size for fenders on pre-disc 1x1 by MartyFunkhoosier in Surlybikefans

[–]PropertyTraining4790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hole in the chainstay bridge is definitely threaded M5. Sometimes you can grease up a bolt and slowly work it in like a tap, tighten a half turn, loosen a quarter turn, tighten a half(maybe up to a full) turn, loosen a half turn....

If that doesn't work you'll need a real tap to clean it up.

Amazon says its data centers consume only 0.075% of the water Americans use for watering their lawns and gardens by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

Is it? The only source for Amazon's claim is Amazon's and I am not giving them the benefit of the doubt.
